Re: Rev. Ted Pike Reveals Demonic Assault Killed Wife
I can't find anything on his wife's death in the news or obits.

I think this is the report as it matches the date Ted gave.
Divers search Willamette River after woman reportedly jumps off Marquam Bridge
Published: Tuesday, December 06, 2011, 7:11 PM
Rescue crews are combing the waters of the Willamette River this evening after police received a report that a woman jumped off the Marquam Bridge.
Several drivers called 9-1-1 about 5:10 p.m. and said the woman parked her car on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 and jumped over the railing of the bridge's lower deck, said Paul Corah, a spokesman for Portland Fire & Rescue.
Police responded and dive operations began soon after, Corah said. Dive crews used sonar to search the river but failed to find a body. They handed over operations to the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, who arrived at the scene about 7 p.m.
The parked car blocked several lanes of traffic before police towed it away from the scene.
Officials also found a note in the woman's car, but Corah didn't know what it said. A purse and car keys were also found, said Lt. Robert King, a spokesman for the Portland Police Bureau.
Police were still trying to identify the woman, who 9-1-1 callers described as being in her 50s, King said.

Re: Rev. Ted Pike Reveals Demonic Assault Killed Wife
Well, if "police were still trying to identify the woman" after 7 pm when the sheriff arrived, it does not jibe with Pike's story that he was notified by the police at about 5:45 pm - people began calling 911 at 5:10 pm.
There is also something odd about Pike showing up on a radio interview 3 days later perfectly calm.
If someone has a head injury, common sense says to take them to a neurologist or brain specialist, ESPECIALLY if they are having either hallucinations or suicidal tendencies (apparently she's tried this before, according to him).
His use of the term "mental hospital" is also odd (I work with a few mentally disabled and emotionally disturbed children, and this term is not likely to be used by those close to the person affected). I am not sure if psychiatric hospitals employ brain specialists - the other part that doesn't add up is that he makes no mention of any diagnostics, physician assessments or drugs prescribed.
And these two statements are made, in close order:
On the day of the event:
In mid-afternoon, I remarked (to Allyn) that no one would ever dream she had attempted suicide or been in a mental hospital.
Which is an odd thing to say to someone who is in this condition. A couple paragraphs later he says:
Did Alynn commit suicide? Absolutely not. She was insane and entirely under demonic control.
Well, if you are "insane" it means you have a brain issue and not a "demonic control" issue. If she tried suicide once and was still not right in the head, she's likely to try it again, so this statement that she absolutely did not defies all logic.
Pike's account is full of holes and sounds like utter nonsense (in spite of my own views on the "paranormal" which are more liberal than most). I am not buying this story. It sounds extremely fishy.
Re: Rev. Ted Pike Reveals Demonic Assault Killed Wife
I don't buy it either. Someone is lying. The whole thing stinks.
Re: Rev. Ted Pike Reveals Demonic Assault Killed Wife
Andie, I think you missed Ted's explanation for why they handled the situation the way they did. I would have been looking for expert assistance, but Ted is man who has lived his life as a Christian and for Christ.
He, and I assume his wife, believed that their faith was being tested, that the attack was being allowed by the Lord, and that they would be reunited after passing through this life (a passing play of shadows).
Those who don't share that faith may find fault with their response to the situation, but more and more I find myself asking why there is so much hatred of Christ in the filthy Talmud and our Jew-ified "culture" today.

Being a Christian is no excuse for being stupid or superstitious. Nature makes brain tumors. God makes brain specialists - for a reason. Use them.
Rather than getting into mediaeval nonsense about "demons" it might help to look for an organic cause (just to be on the safe side and rule it out). I still don't buy this. The fact that his times don't match the official story is a red flag.
In any case, I fully expect that we'll be seeing more of Pike on Rense. It's perfect fodder for that show.
Re: Rev. Ted Pike Reveals Demonic Assault Killed Wife
So living his life as a Christian means that he has to forego expert assistance? I've had more than my fair share of experience of Christian groups who are quick to attribute any ailment, whether physical or mental, to "demon possession". I've known individuals who were clearly suffering from depression or schizophrenia or who were bipolar who were encouraged by amateur exorcists in their "fellowship" to treat the matter as purely spiritual, using a twisted interpretation of Ephesians 6:12 to justify their stupidity. Needless to say, in quite a few these individuals never got the help they needed and went right off the deep end. These people went against the view that the majority of Christians hold, which is that it is impossible for a Christian to be demon-possessed. My time with this "fellowship" and others like it was brought to an abrupt end by this ludicrous voodoo.
So what are you saying here, Fester? That those who do not share your faith are somehow aligned with the Talmudists? That certainly seems to be what you are alluding to.
