Re: Ugly Truth: Elite Whores Frantically Friend MEK
Hillary and the Obama regime will not take the MEK off the terrorist list.
On 27 Feb 2012, the MEK’s shills (e.g. Giuliani etc) filed a writ of mandamus with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia to force Hillary Clinton to make a decision on this within 30 days (i.e. by 26 March 2012).
The Obama regime immediately retaliated by having the Treasury Dept. threaten to open an investigation into the MEK’s shills (Giuliani, Mukasey, Louis Freeh et. al.).
Also, on 27 Mar 2012 the Obama regime ordered the U.S. Court of Appeals to deny the suit. The MEK must stay on the list.
The Obama regime is using the investigation threat to tell the shills to cool it, or there really will be prosecutions. The shills have hired Seth P. Waxman to defend them. Waxman served as U.S. Solicitor General from 1997 through January 2001. In that capacity he argued against taking the MEK off the terrorist list.
The MEK was frantic to get this done because Sunnis, Kurds, and Shiites all want the MEK’s 3,400 members out of Iraq. (The MEK helped Saddam Hussein suppress Shiite and Kurd uprisings in Iraq.)
The Iraqis are currently moving them (against their will) from Camp Ashraf to the abandoned “Camp Liberty” near Baghdad’s airport, in preparation for kicking them out of Iraq altogether. The MEK cultists have nowhere to go.
Some of the U.S. shills are has-beens that now run “consultancies.” Others are still in government, e.g. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Rep. Mike Coffman (R-CO), Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-CA, and others. Nearly 130 members of Congress have co-sponsored resolutions calling for the delisting of the MEK. (The MEK used to be “Marxists,” but now they espouse Wall Street’s “free-market” crap.)
The MEK will stay on the list, because they are now useless for regime change in Iran. MEK is useful for occasional jobs like bumping off an Iranian banker, but that's it.
