Billionaires at Davos Economic Forum Urged Privatization of Pemex
At last month’s World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Mexico's TV tycoon Ricardo Salinas Pliego urged a privatization of Pemex.
Billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego, who controls the country’s No. 2 television broadcaster, TV Azteca SAB (AZTECA.MX), said he wants Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex), the state- run oil and gas monopoly with total assets of $415.75 billion, to be privatized.
Hours before the deadly blast at Mexico City's Pemex building, which killed 33, Mexico's President Nieto said NO to privatization.
The Davos Forum took place on January 23-27. The Pemex blast occurred on January 31st, hours after President Nieto's neg on privatization.

Re: Billionaires at Davos Economic Forum Urged Privatization...
Strange that immediately AFTER Davos urged privatization of Pemex, there was a HUGE EXPLOSION. Coincidence, Im sure. Davos and their henchmen are probably just making things a little difficult for the Mexican Government in an effort fo steal the industry away from them.
