With speed and determination, this young man appears to scale the walls of the 22-story building effortlessly, buoyed by the mad cheers of the crowds below.

===============================

A momentous occasion in Egyptian israeli relations.

These are very dangerous times.

But as is clear by the reaction of the crowd as this brave young Egyptian scales the walls of the israeli embassy to replace israel's flag with Egypt's, Egyptians will not stand down, come what may.

Never again.

Neither should the rest of us.

The Israeli flag was removed from the Israeli Embassy in Giza early Sunday morning, after a demonstrator scaled the building and replaced it with the Egyptian flag.

Since Friday, large crowds have gathered outside the Israeli embassy demanding retribution for the lives of Egyptians killed by the Israeli military in an incident on the Egyptian-Israeli border.

Crowds chanted “lift your head up you are Egyptian," as demonstrator Ahmed El Shehata switched the flags around 2 am Sunday morning.

Protestors also demanded the expulsion of the Israeli diplomatic mission to Egypt present since 1980, and the closure of the embassy.

The embassy is located in Giza’s Anas bin Malik Al Nahda Square since it moved in 1994 from the Cairo neighborhood of Maadi.

After Shehata reached the crowds, demonstrators formed a human shield around the young Ahmed Shehata and chanted to prevent his arrest and burned the Israeli flag.

Demonstrators escorted an ambulance transporting Shehata, who was accompanied by the Islamic preacher Dr. Safwat Hegazy, who told protestors that Shehata “suffered some fatigue because of the effort he made."

Looks like covert forces are operating inside Egypt to create a pretext for war btwn israelis and Egyptians.

I wonder who they could be.

Security forces in Beheira today confiscated 25 anti-aircraft missiles and 9 missile launchers on Alamein Road near the center of Wadi Natron.

Major General Ahmed Salim The security chief of Beheira received a communication stating that Lt. Ahmed Hany El-Erian and his security team who were patrolling the area at the time had noticed a suspicious looking grey ford with a driver and one passenger who on being stopped by the policeman drove away quickly , the security team was forced to use a stop stick tire deflation device to stop them. The car stopped 300 meters away from the security team there was an exchange of fire and then the suspects were eventually apprehended and the missiles discovered in the trunk of their car.

The Northern Command was notified and military officers came to the Police Department where investigations are underway to uncover the truth about this incident.

"Money" has no value - people do.

Average Egyptians have been disgusted for decades by their government’s coddling of Israel. For years an Egyptian could be arrested them if he spoke too loudly in defense of Palestinians.

On Thursday a Jewish aircraft murdered four Egyptian soldiers and a policeman in the Sinai Peninsula. Jews say their atrocity was “regretful,” but they refuse to apologize.

Since Friday afternoon, thousands of Egyptians have been protesting non-stop outside the Jewish embassy, demanding that the Israeli ambassador leave and all diplomatic ties with Israel be cut. They removed all the cement and steel barricades that block the path to the embassy. Egyptian police and army forces remain stationed at the entrance to the building and on the Gamaa Bridge to prevent protesters from breaking in.

The protesters want Egypt to stop selling natural gas to the Jews. They want the border to Gaza opened to all forms of traffic and trade. They want sanctions on Israel. They want the military to move into the Sinai. They want to close the Suez Canal to all Israeli ships and nuclear submarines, plus all ships and companies that do business with Israel.

In Tunisia, activists have insisted on an article in the Constitution banning normalization with Israel, and making support for Palestinians state policy. In Egypt, protesters have urged officials to let boats sail from Egyptian ports to break the Jewish blockade against Gaza.

Faced with mounting public pressure, Egypt’s Foreign Minister now calls the Gaza blockade “shameful.”

THE POINT is that collaborationist Arab governments are finding it harder to get away with inflaming popular sentiments over Israel and Palestine to divert attention from their own corruption.

Ahmed al-Shehat, who replaced the flag, waited for the moment when security forces were changing shifts, and then climbed up the wall of the 22-story Dokki neighborhood building that houses the Israeli embassy on its 17th and 18th floors, making his way from house to house as the masses below cheered him on. Upon completing a grueling trip from balcony to balcony, and even from building to building, Shehat burned the Israeli flag and replaced it with an Egyptian one. Then he climbed back down the same way he went up.

The bangs and explosion heard in the video are firecrackers and skyrockets.

Below is another video that more clearly shows the height of the 22-story building, plus the Jewish flag being removed, as the crowd below goes mad.

Here's yet another video. Ahmed al-Shehat's climb is rather harrowing. And it's more difficult to climb back down than to climb up. The "Amazing Flag Man" indeed.

After this, the Jews might move their embassy from Giza (pronounced "JEE-za" or "JEE-zeh") to a more secure location in central Cairo, about 12 miles to the northeast.

The Egyptian army would like to remove all the demonstrators, but that's tricky. Most lower-ranked soldiers are conscripts who support the demonstrators, since the Jews murdered four conscripts, plus a policeman. One report says that during the early part of Ahmed al-Shehat's climb, he looked down at an Egyptian security guard, waiting to see if the guard pointed his weapon, but the guard waved his arm, signaling, "Keep going."

Make no mistake, the crowds have a lot of momentum. Even the Islamist whores (Muslim Brotherhood) are condemning the Jews. If they don't, then they will not get any parliament seats in the November elections.

I call them whores because they support anyone they think will bring them power, whether it be the Egyptian masses, or the military junta, or the USA, or Jews. If you think the Brotherhood actually cares about Islam or national Egyptian sovereignty, then you will be confused by their actions and shifting alliances. Very simply, they want power for themselves alone, as does the Brotherhood in Syria.

I myself am not Arab, and I regard internal politics as an internal matter. I watch this stuff in order to monitor the Imperial Plutocracy that is enslaving us all.
