http://concen.cc Conspiracy Central is back

There have been several problems at the successor site to the original ConCen that might lead to it shutting down permanently.

To keep the spirit of Conspiracy Central alive, a new alternative site has been created that is closer to what attracted conspiracy-theorists to the sites that Ctrl ran and Yeti took over.

Gentlemen, I give you:

Denis Halliday: Another anti-war activist who upholds official 9/11 story

Popular anti-war activist and former UN Assistant Secretary General Denis Halliday upholds the official 9/11 fiction of 19 Muslim Arab terrorists with boxcutters from Saudia Arabia. He also says that he also finds it hard to believe that 9/11 was invented as a pretext for the US to invade Iraq and Afghanistan.

Boats reach Gaza despite blockade

Human rights activists reach Hamas-ruled strip by sea, despite Israeli blockade.

Two vessels carrying 46 international human rights activists have reached the Gaza Strip, despite Israel's strict 14-month siege of the Palestinian territory.

The end of the mission to symbolically break the siege came after Israel backed down from an earlier warning to the 'Free Gaza' protest group not to breach the blockade.

Al Jazeera's Ashraf Amritti in Gaza said: "The arrival of these two boats is a very symbolic gesture for the Palestinian cause, to end the siege, end the occupation.

In fact, those phrases are written across the peace boats which carry flags from more than 70 nationalities."

US-led troops killed in dispute over veil

A media report says that an Afghan soldier killed two US-led soldiers in a shoot-out when they tried to remove an Afghan woman's veil by force.

Informed sources told the Pashtun language Benava website on Thursday that the deadly incident took place after soldiers were disrespectful to the women and insulted Afghans' cultural and Islamic values.

US-led troops reportedly opened fire at demonstrators, killing dozens of people and wounding more than 20 other civilians.

The Bomb-Iran Debate From Hell

America’s march to a disastrous war in Iraq began in the media, where an unprovoked U.S. invasion of an Arab country was introduced as a legitimate policy option, then debated as a prudent and necessary one. Now, a similarly flawed media conversation on Iran is gaining momentum.

Is an Attack on Iran Imminent?

Today, the last US combat brigade pulled out of Iraq, leaving a skeleton crew of about 50,000 in the country. This pullout was planned well in advance - Obama announced it in 2009.  By June of 2010 or earlier, the Israeli Air Force set up shop in Saudi Arabia, near the city of Tabuk - the closest base to Iran - at the same time, US troops are massing along Iran's border with Azerbijan (they've been there for some time).  This weekend marks the start of operations for Iran's Bushehr nuclear reactor.

Israel Has '8 Days' to Hit Iran Nuclear Site: Bolton

Iran is to bring online its first nuclear power reactor, built with Russia's help, on August 21, when a shipment of nuclear fuel will be loaded into the plant's core.

At that point, John Bolton warned Monday, it will be too late for Israel to launch a military strike against the facility because any attack would spread radiation and affect Iranian civilians.

Free Dr. Siddiqui, UK demonstrators say

A demonstration was held outside the US Embassy in London on Sunday to call for the repatriation of Pakistani neuroscientist Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.

The demonstrators say Dr. Siddiqui was unjustly convicted of attempted murder at her trial in New York.

The sentencing of Siddiqui, who was accused and found guilty of attempted murder of US agents in Afghanistan in a controversial trial, has been postponed to next month.

Saddiqui's two youngest children, who were three months old and four years old when captured and taken into detention, are still missing.

Germany releases 'Mossad agent'

A German court has released Uri Brodsky, an Israeli citizen suspected of being involved in the assassination of a senior Hamas leader in Dubai, on bail.

Israel had repeatedly called on Poland to send Brodsky straight home, saying the suspect should stand before an Israeli court.

Analysts say if Brodsky was not an Israeli citizen and was a Muslim instead, the western media would have launched an all-out propaganda against him.

'US kills civilians to intimidate people'

A US writer and radio host says that the country's killing of civilians in Afghanistan serves the purpose of public intimidation.

"Things go back, I believe, to World War II, to intimidate the opposition. We did it ruthlessly in Vietnam, and the most well-known Operation Phoenix, with the estimated number of civilians that we killed, numbered maybe 80,000. The number could have been doubled," he added.

He said the United States military presences in Iraq and Afghanistan is tantamount to war crime.

Israel does damage control over Hariri hit

Israel has rejected the Hezbollah secretary general's claim that he has evidence of Tel Aviv's involvement in the assassination of Rafiq Hariri as "ridiculous."

The evidence included footage from Israeli spy drones of routes used by Hariri and recorded confessions by Israeli spies substantiating that the assassination of Hariri was carried out on orders from Tel Aviv.

Nasrallah said the Lebanese Defense Ministry reports also show Israeli surveillance planes and warplanes flew over the area where Hariri was assassinated on the day of his murder.

Israel: Only we're allowed

Those bastards, the Lebanese, changed the rules. Scandalous. Word is, they have a brigade commander who's determined to protect his country's sovereignty...the fence is just a fence, we're allowed to cross it and do whatever we like on the other side, sometimes in sovereign Lebanese territory. We can routinely fly in Lebanese airspace and sometimes invade as well...This area was under Israeli occupation for 18 years, without us ever acknowledging it. It was an occupation no less brutal than the one in the territories, but whitewashed well...But suddenly there was a change. How did our analysts put it? Recently there's been "abnormal firing" at Israeli aircraft. After all, order must be maintained: We're allowed to fly in Lebanese airspace, they are not permitted to shoot.

Why We Need WikiLeaks

The reaction to the Wikileaks exposure of US war crimes – and Afghan corruption – has been quite interesting: the President responded by averring that there’s nothing new here, that "the fact is these documents do not reveal any issues that have not already informed our public debate on Afghanistan," but the facts are quite different, as anyone who peruses even a small sampling of the documents – such as is offered by the Guardian via a convenient interactive map – can readily ascertain.
