Four members of the anti-war group CODEPINK were arrested outside the office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in Washington on Thursday.
CODEPINK members were crying outside Pelosi’s office. When asked why, Rae Abileah, 24, said she was crying out of “outrage that this is all we can get from the Democrats.”
“We’re heartbroken that Nancy Pelosi has decided to keep funding George Bush’s war,” said CODEPINK co-founder Medea Benjamin. “Now the war belongs to the Democrats as well as the Republicans. We thought we were going to get a change when they came into power.”

COMMENT: The reason so many people are dismayed at the Democrats’ betrayal is that they cannot face the Zionist factor. Thus, they find the behavior of politicians “mysterious.”
Indeed, many historical events become “mysterious” when the Jewish factor is ignored. Why, for example, did Hitler order his army to allow 340,000 British troops to escape from Dunkirk? (May 26 to June 4, 1940) Answer: Hitler wanted to demonstrate to the British that he was not against them. His enemy was Jewish-led Bolshevism. Because the Jewish factor cannot be discussed, this event became known as the “miracle” of Dunkirk. Hitler used this event as a prelude to his request for a peace treaty with England. Many people in England were open to the idea, but Jewish bankers in London refused. Therefore Germany attacked three months later (the Battle of Britain).
Republicans get money from AIPAC and from corporations. Democrats get almost all their money from AIPAC. Sometimes an independently wealthy person like Ned Lamont runs for Congress, but AIPAC and Lieberman defeated Lamont.
Republicans support war because it’s profitable.
Democrats support war because they are AIPAC employees. The only wars they support are the ones that Israel wants.
Anti-war groups like CODEPINK (and most others) refuse to admit this.
Hence, for them, Democratic warmongering is a “mystery.”
