Muslim countries are, in fact, helping Haiti

irst, if you can, give something to help with relief efforts in Haiti -- and if you're donating to a specific charity, consider making an unrestricted donation.

Now: I was wondering how long it would take for American conservatives to blame the Muslim world for its perceived lack of aid to Haiti. Didn't take long: Jamie Allman, a talk radio host from St. Louis, says the Muslim world is "missing" from the list of donors to Haiti. (And I'm sure he isn't the only one to make this claim.)

Allman is lying. We've put together a partial list of donations from Muslim countries -- it's after the jump -- all of it culled from English-language news reports. Allman had access to the same information, if he'd actually bothered to do any research.

Bahrain: The government has donated $1 million to relief efforts.

Jordan: A Jordanian air force plane carrying a military field hospital and 6 tons of food and supplies left Amman on January 14. A second plane carrying Jordanian medics left the following day.

Iran: Iran's Red Crescent society sent 30 tons of humanitarian aid, including food, tents and medicine, on January 16.

Kuwait: Kuwait donated $1 million to relief efforts; the Red Crescent is preparing 100 tons of food, medical supplies, tents and blankets to fly to Haiti.

Lebanon: Lebanon is loading a plane with 25 tons of tents and 3 tons of medical supplies; it leaves tomorrow.

Morocco: Two planes carrying 24 tons of aid left the city of Kenitra on January 16. The Moroccan government has pledged $1 million in aid to Haiti.

Qatar: A Qatari C-17 aircraft loaded with 50 tons of aid left for Port-au-Prince on January 14. The Qatari government also sent a rescue team to set up a field hospital; the Red Crescent will sent another $100,000.

Turkey: Three cargo planes -- carrying search-and-rescue teams, a mobile hospital and aid materials -- left for Haiti on January 16. Another two planes left yesterday. Turkey has also donated $1 million in cash.

United Arab Emirates: The UAE sent two planes loaded with tents, and a team from the UAE's Red Crescent will arrive in the Dominican Republic tomorrow to buy $500,000 worth of supplies and truck them to Haiti. Another 50 tons of emergency supplies will be air-lifted from Abu Dhabi tomorrow.

And these are just the countries in our area of interest -- I didn't include majority-Muslim countries like Indonesia and Malaysia, which have also made contributions. Oh, and the Islamic Society of North America set up a fund for Haiti, too.

(One notable omission from the list: Saudi Arabia hasn't announced a donation yet, which is really inexcusable for a country with that kind of oil reserves.)

God bless all of our kind and generous Muslim family.

The Zionists have been boasting about Israel's "disproportionate" response in Haiti, and Benjamin Netanyahu said the Israeli team's treatment of the injured was an expression of "the Jewish ethic of helping one's fellow". It's a pity this "help" wasn't in evidence when they blew up the King David Hotel in 1946, when they tried to stage false-flag firebombings in Egypt in 1954, when they attacked a US navy intelligence ship in international waters with rockets, machine guns, torpedoes and napalm bombs in 1967, when they provided Bernard Kerik with a $250,000 "loan" after he had gone on a four-day trip to Israel at the end of August 2001 and in September 2001 had claimed a 9/11 "hijacker's passport" had been found, when they celebrated the 9/11 attacks (which they of course perpetrated) with "cries of joy and mockery" in September 2001, when they tried to blow up the Mexican Congress in October 2001, when they tried to obtain a New Zealand passport in the name of a tetraplegic man in 2004, when they used white phosphorus and cluster bombs to kill and maim as many Lebanese civilians as they could get away with in 2006, when they targeted Red Cross ambulances with missiles and bombed UN observer posts in 2006 after promising that such positions would be spared Israeli fire, when "philanthropist" Bernie Madoff stole many billions of dollars over many years, etc.

It seems that the Israelis have made a cynical calculation, and concluded that the political and propaganda advantage from providing Haiti with aid greatly outweighs the economic cost. It's rather like a serial killer who is well behaved for a week, before the Parole Board meets to determine if he is fit for release.

Poseidon, that may not be Israel's only motivation for scurrying over to Haiti: As long the bodies are still warm, there's always an opportunity for organ-harvesting, as black rights campaigner T. West has warned.

Israel is a racist, theocratic state, but when it comes to organs they don't mind if you're black, yellow, blue, Muslim, Christian or Raelian.

Posted on Sunday, the day before West put his video up on Youtube. Claymoremind indeed. Did you notice in the CNN clip that the IDF hospital camp has brought in high tech "imaging equipment" and even has an "imaging department"? From a quick Google search just now:

Not only was the field hospital established by the IDF in Port-au-Prince up and running quickly, it is one of the most advanced of its kind operating anywhere in the world. The hospital facility includes surgical facilities, a medical lab, pharmacy and x-ray and imaging center.

If I was a relative of a Haitian victim I'd keep a very close eye on where my loved one's body was taken after going through an IDF "imaging center", but I reckon Poseidon is pretty much on the money. It's most likely a publicity stunt organised by the Israeli foreign ministry to show the world how compassionate they are after slaughtering 1400 Gazans last year and causing their worst PR nightmare since the 2006 bombardment of Lebanon. You gotta hand it to the Zionists, they know how to roll. And they'll make back half the shekels they spend from the organs they harvest. Genius!

By the way, Poseidon, I don't know where that question mark came from where I quoted you in the comment above. Wasn't deliberate.
