Thomas Friedman - Complete F*cking A**hole
Once again, Friedman demonstrates beyond a shadow of a doubt what a complete f*cking a**hole he is.
Pardon the vernacular, but I've got zero tolerance for this fool and his inexcusable apologies for israeli atrocities.
HEZBOLLAH'S leader, Hassan Nasrallah, made a remarkable statement last week. He praised Israel for conducting an inquiry into last year's war with Hezbollah - an inquiry that accused Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of "serious failure in exercising judgment, responsibility and prudence."Nasrallah was quoted by the BBC as saying Israelis "study their defeat in order to learn from it," in contrast with the Arab regimes that "do not probe, do not ask, do not form inquiry commissions, as if nothing has happened."
One has to be impressed by his honesty, but he did not take it all the way, since the Arab leader who most needs to be probed is Nasrallah himself. He started the war with Israel, which was a disaster for both sides. If there were an honest Arab League Inquiry Commission into the war, here is what it would say about him:
On July 12, 2006, Hezbollah fighters directed by Nasrallah abducted two Israeli soldiers and killed eight others in an unprovoked attack across the Lebanon-Israel border, on the pretext of seeking a prisoner exchange. This triggered a war that killed about 1,200 Lebanese and 160 Israelis. After interviewing all relevant parties, the Arab League Commission finds Nasrallah guilty of a
serious failure of judgment, responsibility and prudence - for the following reasons.
- Nasrallah demonstrated a total failure to anticipate Israel's response to his raid. He assumed Israel would carry out the same limited retaliation it had with previous raids. Wrong. He failed to take into account the changed circumstances in Israel. The kidnapping of an Israeli soldier in Gaza a few weeks earlier, plus the fact that a new chief of staff of the Israeli army, a new prime minister and a new defense minister had just taken office and all felt they were being tested, triggered an enormous Israeli response. Some 1,200 Lebanese died because of this gross error in judgment.
First of all - the cross-border incident actually took place IN LEBANON.
But, even if it had taken place in israel, which it didn't, it is patently absurd to blame Nasrallah for not anticipating how INSANE and utterly devoid of conscience israelis would be.
By that bizarre and twisted logic, israelis can never lose - if their enemies anticipate their madness, they will never cross israel's path even if crossing its path is necessary to secure their rights. And, if their enemies 'fail to anticipate' israeli insanity, israelis have a free hand to commit genocide in retaliation and their enemies will have brought it upon themselves with their "gross error in judgment."
Friedman has outdone himself - this is pure unmitigated nonsense. Friedman has described the dictionary definition of extortion - where israel is the MOB and its enemies are anyone who has the nerve to stand up to them.
The rest of his points are not even worth discussing as they are either meaningless or rely on the preposterous assumption that Hizbullah started the war and is to blame for israeli war crimes.

Just swirls around this guy like a bad fart. Just like there shekel counters ordering the troops to aim for the heads of kids because REHAB and Power Wheel chairs are so expensive compared to coffins.
Nice diaper licking episode Friedman what is next? You going to bite the head off a baby on live TeeVee to show them goy you mean biz?
I mean you are going to have to seriously consider that your not doing anyone any good and should re think your path Mr Friedman. Your not as high and mighty as you think.
On this planet the lessons are hard learned. Go and have a gander at Sharon's decaying carcass. Linger and contemplate the effect of showing your disregard and lack of attention to your tasks burdened you while your time is running here on planet hell. Sit in a lofty place and shun your duty at your own peril. Out here on the sharp end of our stick the game of life is going to test everyone's ability to have faith that there is a reason for everything.
Your path is Cluttered or Clear Tragic or Joyous according to YOU and absolutely no one else.
First you take D.C. Then you take New York.
in the name of God who knows.
No act of punishment would be
of any value without an ensuing
constant threat. Hit one time,and
threat to hit a lot of times.
These are all words of menace.
Basicaly he says "We the Jews
are psychotic ,mad,murderer,
dangerous,rabid scorpions, ready
to hit whoever whose mother or
father are not adulterers"

PS: by using dirthy words,who
will be happy? God the Great or
satan and his followers the jews?
Israel breaked all world records as it is said in one of wakeupfromyourslumber posts. The international community tends to call the Israeli forces, IDF (Israeli Defence Forces. Defence? Are you kidding me? These forces should be called IOF (Israeli Occupation Forces).

Point taken.
I can't help it sometimes.
I think more than twice before cursing them - but sometimes it seems the only fitting thing to do.
But, of course you're right - it's better and more effective in the long run to refrain.

"Money" has no value - people do.
Well, QRS, in this case it's warranted. They don’t come any more evil than Friedman.
According to the Zionist Wikipedia, he once attended a Jewish summer camp where Abe Fucksman was a counselor. In high school he wrote articles for his school's newspaper, including one for which he interviewed Ariel Sharon, who became his hero. He got his BA from Brandeis, a Jewish school. Both his daughters were born in Israel. He lives in a 11,400-square-foot $10 million mansion on a 7½-acre parcel in Bethesda, Maryland. He favors stronger “hate crime” laws, and the war against Iraq.
The Jew York Times send him to Lebanon during israel’s 1982 rape of that country, and made sure that Friedman got a Pulitzer Prize for his “reporting.”
Friedman has always been a champion of “free trade,” privatization, and globalization. In his a best-selling book about it, titled The World Is Flat, he says individual countries must sacrifice economic sovereignty to multinational corporations in order to achieve the economic prosperity of the Western world. He termed these restrictions the "Golden Straitjacket."
How stupid is this maggot? Well, the ZW (Zionst Wikipedia) says, “Friedman's position on globalization through free trade has been criticized as being based on faith, rather than fact or data. He has been quoted as saying ‘I wrote a column supporting CAFTA. I didn't even know what was in it. I just knew two words: free trade’.”
After Mossad and the Bush regime engineered 9-11, Friedman started writing about Islamic “terrorism.” He was awarded the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for Commentary "for his clarity of vision, based on extensive reporting, in commenting on the worldwide impact of the terrorist threat".
That shows how ultra-zionist the Pulitzer Prize committee is. The Discovery Channel is also Zionist. Friedman has also hosted several “documentaries” for them.
Absolutely worthless piece of human waste.
See John Chuckman's Counterpunch article of May 2003 comparing Friedman to a pet hamster.
It includes some of Friedman's quotes, such as, "As far as I'm concerned, we do not need to find any weapons of mass destruction to justify this war. Mr. Bush doesn't owe the world any explanation for missing chemical weapons in ending Saddam's tyranny." By Friedman's 'logic', Saddam's "tyranny" was worse than the ensuing deaths of hundreds of thousands of - or even as much as a million - Iraqi civilians and thousands of US troops, the poisoning of vast tracts of land with radioactive waste with a half-life of billions of years, and the colossal waste of a conservatively-estimated $1.2 trillion or more realistic $2 trillion that could have been put to constructive use. Unless, that is, Friedman has changed his mind as the consequences of the war have become apparent.
The Counterpunch piece has other Friedman quotes, such as "So why isn't everyone celebrating this triumph? Why is there still an undertow out there, a holding back of jubilation? There are several explanations. For me, it has to do with the nature of Iraq and the Middle East. You always have this worry that in the Middle East, fighting evil is like holding back the desert. The minute you fight off one evil, three others blow in to take its place."
I'd say a better explanation is that some people are not paranoid psychopaths who could care less about anyone other than their immediate tribe. This might be a result of some people's ancestors not having practiced incest, child abuse, or not having the means and opportunity to engage in chemical-induced diversions because they did not have ample leisure time due to their prowess as traders [see quote at this link: The Khazars, great traders, got their wares from the Russians to the north] or did not inhabit a region (i.e. Central Asia) whose flora included cannabis.
Of course, Friedman lied about Nasrallah and Hezbollah "triggering" the war. As usual, Israel was the aggressor. It had started to set the scene for its 2006 operations against Gaza and Lebanon by shelling an innocent family who were picnicking on a Gaza beach. Israel tried to pretend that the incident was caused by a Palestinian landmine, claiming that its own shelling had been at a slightly different time. When this excuse was debunked, they tried another tactic, suggesting that their shell had landed a few hundred yards away - in the absence of any supporting evidence. Indeed, the physical evidence such as injuries to the head and torso indicated a shell dropping from the sky rather than a mine exploding under the sand.
Israel concocted an absurd fable about seven or eight "terrorists" crawling undetected through a sandy tunnel 500 to 650 meters long whilst carrying a couple of handheld anti-tank grenade launchers (RPGs), a few hand grenades and two or three rifles. These "terrorist commandos" were claimed to have split into three groups: one blasting through the rear of a tank and throwing in grenades, one through the rear of a decoy APC, and the other taking on the guards manning the gun tower. The terrorists were then said to have run away across the sand with their injured hostage for about a quarter mile, cut through a perimeter fence, and then run another quarter mile through no-man's-land, with no explanation of why the Israelis "stood down" for four minutes or more to let the Arabs make their escape.
Israel then fabricated a similar casus belli for its invasion of Lebanon. Small units of soldiers were sent across the border into Lebanon until one or two were captured or arrested by Lebanese police or militia. The Zionist press were instructed to spin the event so that it appeared that "Arabs started it" by conducting a "cross-border raid". Israel's army chief, Dan Halutz, sold $26,000 worth of shares at noon on July 12, three hours after the alleged "cross-border raid". The next day, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange index plummeted, and it was down 8.3% within days. Halutz claimed that he did not think there would be a war when he sold the shares, implying that the timing was just a lucky coincidence.
for the long list of reasons to hate the SOB.
My hope is that this thread becomes a damning indictment of Thomas Friedman and comes up NUMBER ONE every time someone googles his name.
And if he's reading this - Go to hell, Friedman!

"Money" has no value - people do.
David Sirota has a blistering indictment of Friedman at http://davidsirota.com/index.php/2006/10/06/another-open-letter-to-thoma....
Links to his "I didn't even know what was in it" CAFTA quote, his marrying a billionaire, and also his "70s pornstar moustache."
"A comparative advantage in terms of political oppression." Highly recommended.
In Fester's link to Sirota, Sirota's links don't work for me and just seem to direct to his latest blog entries. See this page which includes commentary and a video clip of Friedman's "didn't even know what was in it" remark.
and never have, even after the hype about his "acclaimed" best-seller 20th century history book The World is Flat which I haven't read other than skimming at a bookstore.
Why should I (and others of similar politically conscious background) give a crap about this Pulitzer prize-winning commentator, 'journalist' and author?
I've seen him talk on television. I've read a few articles about him. My impression is he's the kind of a person who thinks his views are important enough to accept at face value and that he's right and you're not - irrespective of his support of Iraq invasion (indisputably disastrous and constitute war crimes) and his not-so-subtle support of Zionist agenda.
Thomas Friedman is a fine writer -- but I find him to be an unbearably self-important prick because he positions himself to be the center of influential sociological & political journalism (being possibly the most widely-read columnist for the prestigious albeit snooty & pro-war New York Times, a step closer to the editorial endorsement of all-out imperialism and neoconservative philosophy like Wall Street Journal). Friedman is counted as a big man in the company of provocateurs Victor Davis Hanson, Daniel Pipes, Alan Dershowitz and Charles Krauthammer.
All of the above is fundamentally elitist as staunchly pro-war & Zionist shills with chickenshit brains in their human noggins. They delude themselves believing the reading public is full of gullible idiots, but the few of us know their bullshit and expose them for the pretentious elitist fraud they are.

And your description of his role and the role of others and what they think is completely undeniable.
The conduct war by the pen on behalf of their paymasters...they are typical Court intellectuals, I doubt they believe their own words, all they do is twist and craft words and ideas and they justify and authorize the crimes of their paymasters.
The pen is mightier than the sword because the pen can authorize wars and legitimate the slaughter with swords or bunker buster bombs. without these people none of it would be possible.
