US backs israeli, Lebanese air strikes
The forces of darkness are once again coalescing over Lebanon and Gaza.
The U.S. State Department on Monday defended the use of military force by both Israel and Lebanon in combating escalating terrorist violence in their respective countries.
That despite the fact that many civilians have also perished in the strikes.
State Department Spokesman Sean McCormack told a press conference that the Lebanese army was operating in a "legitimate manner" against "provocations" emanating from Palestinian refugee camps overrun with Islamic militants.
Lebanese government forces have been shelling the camp outside the coastal town of Tripoli for two straight days. Dozens are said to have been killed.
In Gaza, Israeli military aircraft have for the past three days been striking Hamas targets, after the terror groups launched a massive rocket barrage on southern Israel earlier last week. More than thirty have been killed in the air strikes, most of them militants involved in the violence.
"Israel is faced with the difficult challenge of countering these continued rocket attacks from Gaza into Israeli territory, [and] they have a right to defend themselves," said McCormack.
Even if they destroy the planet in the process.

Dear brothers and sisters, where ever you are. You`ve heard about the sad news. My heart is torn apart with the idea that our brothers, sisters and children are killed there in Lebanon. I didn`t believe it at first. Muslims don`t tend to start war. Islam taught us not to start a war unless it is for self-defense. I am not sure the reason why this whole thing has started. But what I am sure about is that there is a third party who viciously started that clash.

In September 1982, the Israelis had the “Christian” Phalangist Party massacre up to 3,500 Palestinians in the Sabra and Shatila Palestinian refugee camps of southern Beirut.
Now Israel and its American servants are doing the same thing again. Frustrated by their failure to trigger a civil war between Hezbollah and everyone else, they are using the Lebanese army to massacre Palestinians in Lebanon, hoping it will anger Muslims and trigger a war for israel’s benefit.
Meanwhile in Palestine, Hamas and Fatah agreed to join two months ago, but israel managed to set them at each other’s throats again.
Last week, over forty Palestinians were killed, while israeli dogs murdered a dozen more.
Tanks are in Gaza. Gunships fill the air. The israeli offense force is preparing to invade.
israel continues to steal hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes collected on behalf of the Palestinians.
On May 10, israeli assassins shot Maha Katoumi, a pregnant Palestinian woman in Nablus. The bullet went through the head of her eight-month-old fetus.
Now we hear that israel will push Palestinians out of occupied East Jerusalem, and build 20,000 new homes for Jewish “settlers.”
Why cannot 325 million Arabs in 23 countries rid themselves of Israel? It seems they are the same as we in Europe and the English-speaking countries.
zionism cannot exist without constant war. If Palestinians suddenly disappeared, israel would immediately attack Lebanon again, or Syria, or even Egypt or Jordan. No single state has ever caused so much evil and misery as israel.
Most of us are helpless. We are just trying to survive.
However, zionist Jews, warmongers, central bankers, and TV news morons promote the nightmare.
“Christian” zionists worship it.
Why do we tolerate them?
The leaders of Lebanon (Saniora etc) are disgusting. They’re too cowardly and selfish to resist israel, but they have no problem ordering tanks and artillery to shell people in Lebanon.
Their excuse? The 31,000 Palestinian refugees in the Nahr el-Bared camp work for al-Qaeda.
Fifty Palestinians were killed over the weekend; another eleven today. They MSM calls them “militants,” since Palestinians are the ones being killed.
Saniora and Israel hope for a backlash among other Palestinian camps, so israel can order a full-scale siege, plunging Lebanon into another civil war.
There are 400,000 Palestinian refugees in Lebanon — about 215,000 of whom live in 12 impoverished refugee camps.
Incredibly, Saniora says the Palestinians are trying to destabilize Lebanon with the help of Syria. This is designed to rally Christians against Muslims, since Christians are still hurting from the Syrian occupation that ended in 2005.
When Satan goes on the march, Satan accuses everyone of doing what only Satan does.
Today Lebanon's economy minister begged for money and resources to help the Lebanese army continue to kill Palestinian refugees near Tripoli.
"I take this opportunity to ask our friends all over the world -- Arab governments and friendly Western governments -- to help us both logistically and with military equipment!" Minister Sami Haddad told CNN.
He said the Palestinians include a “militant” group, Fatah al-Islam, that is well-financed and heavily armed.
The extermination of Palestinians began Sunday when the Lebanese army attacked a building in a neighborhood north of Tripoli.
Members of the Palestinian Fatah al-Islam group fought back, triggering clashes in the vicinity of the camp.
Fighting continued into Monday. At least 15 Palestinians and 30 Lebanese soldiers were killed, and dozens more wounded.
Bush on Monday condemned the Palestinian resistance, and promised to help Prime Minister Saniora.
"It’s a sad state of affairs when you've got this young democracy in Lebanon being pressured by outside forces," Bush told Reuters in an interview aboard Air Force One.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency has been trying to negotiate a cease-fire so medical and food supplies can get into the camp, but the Lebanese army continues to attack.
George Ketaneh, national director of the Lebanese Red Cross, said his group is "receiving a lot of calls" and trying to help those in need, but it is severely limited in what it can do amid the violence. In the Palestinian refugee camp, there is no water or electricity.
Extremely poor living conditions gave rise to Fatah al-Islam, according to Lebanon's former ambassador to the United Nations.
Bush and israel say al-Qaeda and Syraia are to blame.
