Iran: "Measures Impairing Lebanon's Stability Unacceptable"
TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Following the recent incidents in a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, Iran announced that any measure undermining stability and security of Lebanon is hazardous and unacceptable.
Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini here on Tuesday voiced concern about the human conditions in Nahr al-Barred refugee camp in the Lebanese town of Trablos, and stressed, "We are worried about the targeting of civilians and complication of the human conditions dominating the Nahr al-Barred Palestinian refugee camp and we hope due attention will be paid to the humanitarian issues of the camp and immediate relief and rescue measures taken to help those harmed and wounded in the clashes."
Noting the long and negative record of the Zionist regime (of Israel) in devising plots to sow discord and foment domestic conflicts (in Palestine and Lebanon), the spokesman said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran recommends all the relevant groups and parties to show vigilance in the face of the ill intentions of foreign enemies, cease hostilities and restore calm and security of the Lebanese people as (these measures) are demanded by all."
