Zionist Prager demands first Muslim congressman be sworn in on Bible
Not only was he accused of being an enemy combatant on national tv, the first Muslim American ever to be elected to Congress has now been essentially asked to convert to Christianity before taking office.
Keith Ellison, D-Minn., the first Muslim elected to the United States Congress, has announced that he will not take his oath of office on the Bible, but on the bible of Islam, the Koran.He should not be allowed to do so -- not because of any American hostility to the Koran, but because the act undermines American civilization.
This of course is hysterical coming from a staunch Zionist whose number one goal is to undermine HUMAN civilization for israel's sake.
First, it is an act of hubris that perfectly exemplifies multiculturalist activism -- my culture trumps America's culture.
What Ellison and his Muslim and leftist supporters are saying is that it is of no consequence what America holds as its holiest book; all that matters is what any individual holds to be his holiest book.
Forgive me, but America should not give a hoot what Keith Ellison's favorite book is. Insofar as a member of Congress taking an oath to serve America and uphold its values is concerned, America is interested in only one book, the Bible.
If you are incapable of taking an oath on that book, don't serve in Congress. In your personal life, we will fight for your right to prefer any other book. We will even fight for your right to publish cartoons mocking our Bible. But, Mr. Ellison, America, not you, decides on what book its public servants take their oath.
Newflash for Mr. Prager:
The Constitution specifically reserves the right to choose between "oath" or "affirmation" to each individual citizen upon taking public office, so as not to exclude ANYBODY on the basis of religious belief or nonbelief, for that matter.
But, facts don't seem to matter to this religious zealot caught in the Evangelical twilight zone between Christianity and Zionism.
I do have to agree with Prager on one count, however, it IS all about values.
And it's high time Americans learned how to distinguish between TRUE values and EMPTY symbolism.
If you know little or nothing about Islam and what Muslims VALUE then it's about time you learned about it from people who know about it - not from right-wing Zionist warmongers bent on triggering a bloody clash of civilizations, right here on American soil.

It has to be a book (or an entity) that you're already publicly committed to uphold.
Even if Ellison swore on the Bible, then they'd call him a hypocrite. Jewish extremists have been smearing Ellison since day one, I may have to do a post on the number of jewish hate mongers in the media. They are out of control and need to taken to task for their hatred.

I doubt they would touch anything with the New Testament and testimony of Christ in it.
and they shouldn't have to - that's why the Constitution makes room for oath OR affirmation.
