Fiji's new PM tells NZ, AU — Back OFF!
"This is the trouble with you people. You want to control us. ""No, no, no. We will reach a point in our life that we should be able to manage our own affairs."

Until yesterday Jona Senilagakali was coup leader Voreqe (Frank) Bainimarama's doctor.
A few hours later he was appointed prime minister to take over from elected prime minister Laisenia Qarase, as Cdre Bainimarama warned his army would put down any uprising by force if needed.
Today Dr Senilagakali warned New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark and Australian Prime Minister John Howard, they should not interfere by condemning coup leaders.
"My message to them is just please leave us alone for the next one month."
"Let us put our acts together in Fiji and we will show you in the end nothing's going to happen. So far no blood has been shed," he told NewstalkZB.
Dr Senilagakali's warning followed a declaration by New Zealand of a wide range of sanctions against the new Fijian regime.
Dr Senilagakali, 77, said he had been appointed as interim prime minister.
"I want to help put in place a system which will wipe out corruption, that will help the poor people improve their standard of living so they enjoy a better level of life, remove the hatred, especially the hatred towards Indians by the indigenous Fijians."
He said he and many others did not voted for Mr Qarase's government.
"What type of democracy are we talking about? Democracy might be all right for Australia and New Zealand but certainly not all right for Fiji, I can tell you that. "
"I think in Fiji we need a different type of democracy."
"Just look at the United States – the father and mother of democracy. Look at what they have done in Iraq," he said – a reference to US President George Bush's unpopular decision to invade Iraq.
Amazing!
Bush really IS spreading freedom and democracy, after all - IN REVERSE!!!
People take one look at Iraq and run in the opposite direction!
He said ordinary people were struggling because of corruption in the government, which got into power because of an agricultural scam. But the Fijian people were easily bought.
"You hold a $10 or $5 note in front of them ... the Fijian mind completely changes. We know that in Fiji. You can do that. I am a Fijian. I know."
He said he fully supported what the army had done and what it had been trying to do for the last few years.
The government had been thrown out because of corruption.
"Do we allow corruption to continue and make the majority of people suffer because the people at the top are making themselves richer and richer?"
HELL NO!!!
"I don't believe in that. I believe in everybody sharing the fruits of economic development because everybody in the country contributes to that."He said if New Zealand and Australia imposed sanctions because of the coup, Fiji would go to other countries for aid, such as Indonesia as it did in 1987, Taiwan, and China.
* * *
Dr Senilagakali said he accepted he could be put in prison for his role in the coup but he said Cdre Bainimarama believed there was nothing to stop the army from running the country for the next 10 years.
He said people had the right to an opinion but putting that opinion into action was a different matter.
"It is the army which has the power to put into action what it wants and that is exactly what is happening in Fiji."
YEEE-HAAAA!!!
Move over BANKERS - THE PEOPLE are taking over!

Score 1 for the people of the 3rd world.
Score 0 (or -1) for "White Power" - racism is DYYYYIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!
Boo hoo hoo. The common remark to the complaint that we are living in a "white man's world" is to "do something about it".
WELL WE JUST DID (again!).
How do you like them apples?!!!
Fiji has more guts than most. I remember when they kicked out three Israelis who tried to enter the country last August. The immigration officer accused them of having humiliated Palestinians during their military service and they were deported after spending a night in jail
Bravo Fiji!
There is an quick and simple litmus test you can use to determine the side of good in any situation that in any way involves Australia: If Alexander Downer (Australian foreign minister) is for it, the good is against it.
Lucky for Figians Figi ain't full of loot, or there'd be Australian boots on the ground right now.

In light of the coup d'etat, Fiji is merely defending its sovereign rights in assertive self-determination to root out corruption that prove regressive to the Fiji population being exploited for the benefit of the selfish oligarchy.
Corrupt-to-the-depth-of-soul Washington policitians, strategists, government & defense officials and associates already subordinate to the false idols of Almighty Dollar of Greed in petrodollar hegemony, bribery & theft of U.S. Treasury, Global U.S. Militant-Imperial Hegemony & Israel should be detained and indicted for High Treason among numerous charges.
Such traitors along with the Elite and prominent Zionists deserve permanent imprisonment on the distant island of exile, with capital punishment imposed for the offenders who have harmed the U.S. in the most severe in undermining national security, economy and overall morale in healthy pride & vigilance for the preservation of liberty by prosecuting the proven enemies of truth, justice and the American way as the Founding Fathers of the U.S. Republic intend and urgently encourage combating the treasonously subversive elements of the branches of U.S. government and its subsidiaries that revel in fraud, deceit, waste, despotism and corruption contrary to the will of the U.S. citizenry as laid out in the U.S. Constitution that prescribe the abolishment of the government proven deeply corrupt to re-establish the new Republic.
