Poll Behaviour - Here, on this site

Someone created a poll "Do you care one way or the other whether Hufschmid tried to make it appear that Bollyn and family were dead or abducted?"

The time right now is 3:55 CST 7/16/7

When not logged in, this poll shows 4 votes total, but 6 votes show up on the page which lists all polls. When I click the individual poll, it shows 4.

So, It shows 4 everywhere unless I go to the 'older polls" link.

When logged in the count totals 6 no matter the page, which is correct.

Why is this?
It doesn't seem to happening on the other polls.

UPDATE: Now it reflects the same. It did sit this way for a couple of hours at least today.

Select your preferred way to display the comments and click "Save settings" to activate your changes.

Sometimes the recent comments list doesn't update immediately for me or even more frustrating, new comments will appear and then disappear when I click to read them.

I've found that restarting the browser usually fixes the problem if clearing its cache doesn't. On occasion, however, neither fix works and waiting appears to be the only remedy.

maybe we should to demand a hand recount.

I think the problem is something to do with cached pages, either at the server or in your browser.

I am not sure how it works - but I am sure it's not reliable nor does it reflect anything other than the opinion of those who responded to it - which is not very many.
