Israeli President Shimon Peres has invited US President George W Bush to visit Israel during the country's 60th anniversary celebrations next year.* * * "We are nearing our 60th anniversary," Peres said.
"I truly hope we shall celebrate it in an atmosphere of peace, and I shall use your good offices to invite President Bush to the celebrations next May."

Actually, if you follow Lebanese media, especially Hezbollah's, Nasrallah seems to be quite confident that Israel will also not attack Lebanon again now... though he is well aware that Israel is dying for a revenge. Nasrallah doesn't really think that Israel is ready yet for another war..., but he is. As for Iran..., if one follows Iranian media, one also gets the clear impression that Iran doesn't believe that the US will attack it either. Iran thinks that the US is in far too much trouble to be able to open another front. I watched an interview with Ahmadinejad on French TV a few month ago and he was asked why it was that he showed no fear of an American attack? His response was simple: because there will be no American attack. The interviewer asked him how he could say something like this considering all the military preparations? And he just smiled back and said: the Americans just can't afford another war now. Another theme that is recurring these days is that Israel is trying to provoke the US into war ASAP by conducting a false flag. The cia apparently doesn't want the US involved in another war now... and is trying to counter Israeli attempts at pulling a false flag that would get the ball rolling... Israel can of course not enter a war without US support... especially that Israel is still recovering from its wounds. I guess that we'll be finding out soon what will happen in the Middle East.
