However, it would be silly to take some stereotypical view about all women being "illogical". And the stereotype is robustly contradicted by the comments of several women on this forum.

But I do believe that people of all races should be treated with respect and, with few exceptions, should be given every opportunity. Now, for your accusations against me.

I am not "for" forced integration - I think it's wrong.

But, I'm also against FORCED segregation.

In other words, when people who would ordinarily, by virtue of living and working in proximity with one another, be forced to live and work in a strictly segregated environment because one people feels superior to another.

That's not just racist, it's supremacist. And it's unacceptable.

This is especially true when that segregation is clearly - based on the facts - UNEQUAL. For example, Americans first, less time for Iraqis, less amenities for Iraqis, etc.

Every human being is entitled to maintain his dignity. And that cannot be done when one group insists on degrading another. Segregation in this context is a form of degradation.

A long time ago, the laws of nature divided different people in different areas of the globe. There was nothing wrong with it then, and there would be nothing wrong with it now IF that was the case.

But, it's not.

"Economic" necessity (and slavery) has FORCED the races together. Was it a mistake? Well, it's hard to say.

On the one hand, the people who set this forced migration into motion, did so with the aim of displacing and dispossessing people of their roots so they could exploit them.

Obviously, that's not good - neither for the people migrating, nor for the people who host them.

However, that said, as nefarious as this process was and continues to be, evidently, it's part of God's plan to allow it to happen.

It seems that He wants us to learn some lessons.

LESSON #1: NO "race" or culture is inherently, ie. genetically, better than any other.

Human beings are all created equal in the eyes of God.

A culture could be better than another based on its practices and knowledge, but culture can easily be transferred from one group of people to another. It happens all the time - people learn from eachother.

This is one of forced integration's greatest advantages.

It teaches people how to respect that which is different from them and to learn from other cultures. This is definitely a plus, for those who learn how to do it.

There will always be conflicts - not every aspect of any culture is good. But, human beings are creatures of habit and tend to cling to their cultural habits, even if they're idiotic.

On the other hand, some habits are neither good nor bad - just different - and not everyone will be willing to adopt them. That's perfectly understandable.

However, as long as the habits aren't harmful or offensive, efforts can and SHOULD be made to ACCOMMODATE them. This would fall under the category of TOLERANCE.

In short, I despise the practice of forced segregation for the reasons stated.

I am not pro-forced integration. But, once the genie is out of the bottle, people should be treated with respect.

I dislike the ad above, because it implies that darker skinned people always work for a white master.

I would dislike it just as much if the role was reversed (dark master, white slaves).

It is especially despicable since I know that this slave / master relationship was fabricated through stealth, corruption, and fraud - and maintained by brute force and police power.
