I've always wondered, after reading another of Christophers' hair-raising accounts, how it was that he ever remained alive for even one more day, to write us yet another one.

I am almost altogether new at this, so p'haps ye'll all forgive me when I confess to having posted my opinion on the matter of Chris Bollyn and family (for what it's worth) at another blog (I suppose they're called) on this site, under the heading: 'Daryl Bradford Smith', found here: http://www.wakeupfromyourslumber.com/node/2859

Dr Linda L. Shelton

This blog contains defamatory slander and libel in its reference to the site "I am the Witness" by Daryl Bradford Smith. He knows absolutely nothing about me or about Bollyn's family since the trial in June. Mr. Bollyn has CHOSEN NOT to communicate further with him or with others through this web site. Just because DBS states that Bollyn is a close friend does not mean it is true, nor is there any truth about any statements he made about me.

Unlike DBS I am hiding nothing. My life is an open book. Anyone has access to it by going to the federal courts website for the Northern District of Illinois and reading my pleadings on the cases I have filed, or by going to the clerk in the Circuit Court of Cook County and requesting my files both criminal and civil and reading them. This is what several national reporters from main stream news organizations are doing right now. There are important civil rights issues and government corruption issues that I am addressing.

Mr. Smith claims on his web site that Mr. Bollyn is murdered or kidnapped or the like. He accuses me of being part of this and being a "Zionist agent". I am preparing a suit against him and Eric Hufschmid to stop this inflammatory slander and its use by these people to raise money, not for Bollyn but for themselves. They are con men and should be stopped.

Under the law it is per se defamation in Illinois and most places in the United States to accuse someone of a heinous crime maliciously, without a scintilla of evidence, or simply for financial gain. In court it will be easy to prove that Mr. Bollyn is alive and under no one's influence.

It is also wire fraud, a federal felony, to write false information purposely to con people out of their money. That is what the site "I am the Witness" is doing.

I suggest that all such statements on this site by these persons, which are being used for their personally gain by manipulating vulnerable persons, be immediately deleted. You have now been informed of this crime and the torts that these people have committed. Should this site not remove such libel from it, this site would be party to this libel. Therefore, I demand that any reference to Bollyn being "murdered" or to the site "I am the witness" - which refers to his "murder" and states I was involved in this fictional "crime" be immediately moved and no further comments be allowed. This is no joke. I am also reporting this to the FBI as wire fraud. I will not tolerate false statements about me of such an inflammatory and defamatory nature. Those responsible will face the consequences of their actions.

Anyone who wishes to communicate with Mr. Bollyn or know what is really going on should read Mr. Bollyn's web site. No one speaks for him, including me.

Ms Shelton, the iamthewitness website is the source of the alleged libel, not this one. As a civil rights activist, surely you appreciate the value of the first amendment to your United States constitution. All we do here is comment on that which has it's source at the French Connection, so please don't involve this site, which has allowed you to speak so freely and openly, in your litigation. The administrator here has nothing to do with all that drama.

Not having taken overmuch or sufficient time to look into who or what you really are myself, I have heretofore been willing to give you the benefit of the doubt (in spite of Mr. Smith's well-expressed and justified concerns), as one who might truly have the Bollyn family's best interests to heart. I wish I could thank you for disabusing me. With friends like yourself, methinks they'd have no need of enemies (and, sadly, they have enough of those, don' you think?).
In case your bloated ego or duplicity (it HAS to be one or t' other that motivated that uncalled for venemous tirade, &c.) cause you not to notice, Mr. Smith DOES have a tendancy to cite MANY of his concerns, about MANY things and MANY people. Precisely as he should, and as we ALL should. Your prattle dispels all or any doubt about YOUR character, and greatly adds to my suspicions. If their is a reader of this living in the Chicago-area who might be willing and desirous to learn the TRUTH about what's going on up there, I hope that you'll look into it (and her).
