Why Ron Paul deserves support
Sure he probably won't win, and sure even if he did, perhaps he wouldn't change much due to political pressures.
Perhaps the establishment could still find a way to minimize any effect he may have, or even worse he could disappear if he were to start doing anything effectively, and maybe he does still blame bin Laden for 9/11, or he's a member of the John Birch society or whatever, he still deserves support.
Why? Because he does have a chance, and at least he says he'll stop the war, get rid of the IRS, and stop the Patriot Act, support the constitution, these are all good and show he deserves a shot.
As much as I would like a candidate that openly points out this international criminal syndicate and was actively trying to expose these crimes, I also realize that someone like that is not a viable candidate at this moment.
As much as I would like to see such a candidate emerge anyhow, which I would also support in addition to Ron Paul, I don't think such a candidate would win, people are not ready for the truth, and most people still have a strong negative reaction to truths that are "too big to think about".
This is why Ron Paul stands a chance, it is no secret that his secret core of support is from thousands of dedicated "9/11 truthers" whose daily activities include several hours of internet activity a week, and thus tip the balance of every online poll.
Yes he gets support from Alex Jones, Rense, WRH, but who cares? The more the merrier, besides people in the 9/11 truth movement know what they are trying to buy when they donate to his campaign, a chance, albeit a small chance, of getting a new independent investigation into 9/11 and the chance to make 9/11 a major political issue.
Most people in the United States, and the world over, do not want war, the Iran threat is clearly not working, a candidate the stresses non-interventionism is certainly someone we should try to help over the other candidates in this race, who continue to threaten other nations with war or "tactical air strikes".
