Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho) was arrested in June at a Minnesota airport by a plainclothes police officer investigating lewd conduct complaints in a men’s public restroom, according to an arrest report obtained by Roll Call Monday afternoon.
Craig’s arrest occurred just after noon on June 11 at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. On Aug. 8, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct in the Hennepin County District Court. He paid more than $500 in fines and fees, and a 10-day jail sentence was stayed. He also was given one year of probation with the court that began on Aug. 8.
A spokesman for Craig described the incident as a “he said/he said misunderstanding,” and said the office would release a fuller statement later Monday afternoon.
After he was arrested, Craig, who is married, was taken to the Airport Police Operations Center to be interviewed about the lewd conduct incident, according to the police report. At one point during the interview, Craig handed the plainclothes sergeant who arrested him a business card that identified him as a U.S. Senator and said, “What do you think about that?” the report states.
Craig then entered the stall next to Karsnia’s and placed his roller bag against the front of the stall door.
“My experience has shown that individuals engaging in lewd conduct use their bags to block the view from the front of their stall,” Karsnia stated in his report. “From my seated position, I could observe the shoes and ankles of Craig seated to the left of me.”
Craig was wearing dress pants with black dress shoes.
“At 1216 hours, Craig tapped his right foot. I recognized this as a signal used by persons wishing to engage in lewd conduct. Craig tapped his toes several times and moves his foot closer to my foot. I moved my foot up and down slowly. While this was occurring, the male in the stall to my right was still present. I could hear several unknown persons in the restroom that appeared to use the restroom for its intended use. The presence of others did not seem to deter Craig as he moved his right foot so that it touched the side of my left foot which was within my stall area,” the report states.

Are there any members of Congress that aren't perverted?
i have nothing against gays, just the two-faced corrupt bastards in Congress that like passing laws, dictating our behavior.
Question: Were other people, like a certain LOBBY aware of Craig's behavior and if so, use Craig's sexual orientation to blackmail Craig into voting for their agenda?

I don't get it!
What was he doing???
nevermind. I don't need to know.

Maybe we're being too HARD on the good Senator.
Maybe Larry was suffering from a terminal case of constipation and was looking for a kind soul to help "prod" loose the errant turds.
And just maybe, if that kind soul also used some type of lubricant, then the reluctant turds would gladly leave... Think that's what happened?
He pleaded guilty to being a common bathroom pervert on August 8, 2007. The attempted lavatory liason occurred June 11, 2007. That means the media knew of this all summer and never reported it. Why were they holding this back?
A useful diversion for the brain dead TV fed sheeple, courtesy of the party of peace and morality.
I did not have sexual relations with that undercover police officer (in the restroom stall of an airport). Senator- don't you know attempt is just as bad as the deed itself in cases like this?!?!?!
Ashcroft, Craig, and Lott singing hymns!

Caught part of Larry's almost tearful press conference where he tried to explain what happened in that restroom stall.
Larry claims that a series of newspapers articles in an Idaho paper were causing him so much stress, he was having problems dealing with that stress and therefore, reacted by engaging in lewd behavior in a public restroom.
And then pleaded guilty and thinks now he shouldn't have pleaded guilty.
OK, Larry, if that's your story, then you need to resign.
If a few newspaper articles cause you THAT much stress that you engage in and get arrested for a lewd act, then someone that gets that easily rattled has no business making and passing laws that literally deal with another person's life and ability to live.
Give it up Larry and get a lucrative job as a lobbyist.

It's a theory worth considering.
But, it doesn't explain why he would spontaneously plead guilty.
It's so important to remain clean with these vipers waiting on any mistake to drag you down.

..the zionists are conducting a worldwide campaign of terror, murderers are stalking the streets, and the media saves this terd over two months to distract us from reality!!
..hello? he didn't get caught in the act, but the dookie cops SAY he was gonna; yeah right, and i don't care either way.
..i bet he was blackmailed over this.
Senator Craig gives his "STANCE" on his arrest!
I don't understand what this man did wrong. This whole story is very fishy. It is enough to see that he has been on Google front page news for one week as a top news item before anything in the world... literally. I smell something bad. Why is this man being hunted down? If anyone can enlighten me, I would appreciate it.
