Ron Paul says martial law provisions in place to deal with economic discord

Texas Congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul says that attempts to rescue an ailing stock market last week, during which the Fed pumped in billions in liquidity, were merely a stop gap measure - and that an economic collapse is all but inevitable.
"They think that they can control it but eventually they can't, as powerful as they are eventually the markets are more powerful," the Congressman told the Alex Jones Show yesterday.
"The dollar can't be kept in check because eventually it will come unwound," he added. "But I think the most significant figure we've heard in the last few weeks is the measurement between 2000 - 2005, the clear cut admission that real income has gone down, which is a reflection of the dollar."
Paul explained that recent attempts to pump liquidity into the markets are only a temporary fix and that the long-term effects of doing so spell disaster for the economy.
"The dollar is plunging no matter what you read and hear about and no matter how hard they work to keep the bubble going the only way they can do that is creating more money....causing the dollar to go down even faster, the market seems to be reassured - there's a contrivance to try to hold this together....but it won't last, eventually it's going to collapse," said Paul.
The Texas Congressman cited the repeal of the Insurrection Act as opening the door to a declaration of national emergency and martial law which could be instituted for any number of reasons, including civil disobedience in the event of an economic downturn and a run on the banks.
"If in 6 months or a year there is total chaos who knows what they might try to do," said Paul.
The presidential candidate also slammed the abolition of Habeas Corpus as a "very dangerous sign" that plans were being laid for martial law.
"Why would they change them (the laws) if they didn't plan to use them," concluded Paul.
Suspicions were raised last week when a mystery trader risked billions of dollars after buying 245,000 put options on the Dow Jones Eurostoxx 50 index, in effect a speculation that the market would crash by a third before September 21st.

This is a bear trade, it could be naked but most likely it will an institutional hedge. The size of margin deposit (US$ 245,000,000) and the size of the margin calls if the market goes in the wrong direction (US$ 2.45 million per tick) are massive. A broker would not take this kind of exposure to a single private client. The trader taking this position must have US$ billions backing him and therefore is most likely a professional investor with a large porfolio to hedge (could be close to reporting time and therefore wants to stave off losses).

And specifically to Alex Deathcult Jones? Is Prison Planet a valid provider of information? New Years eve 2000 Jones did a show promoting the idea that the Chinese and the Russians were going to attack because of Y2K related problems. Jones whipped his audience into a frenzy with sensational claims. Bill Cooper did a show on Jones and suggested that Jones should be arrested for trying to incite a riot! I suspect that Jones is Naval Intelligence. Furthermore, Jones connects every dot imaginable but never discusses the pink elephant- Zionism. Here is my supporting evidence:

There is nothing personal about my line of questions. Moreover, I have ask Mr. parent this very question before and he has ignored me! Additionally, I provided a specific example with some supporting evidence for my claims. Lastly, I agree with you and will wait for his response.
I'm not posting this to make a statement about Marc Parent redirecting traffic, I think he provides an invaluable service. As I understand it, CCNWON and WUFYS have a kind of symbiotic relationship going on, so it's all good.

The president's next goof went uncorrected — by him anyway. Talking about Howard's visit to Iraq last year to thank his country's soldiers serving there, Bush called them "Austrian troops."
That one was fixed for him. Though tapes of the speech clearly show Bush saying "Austrian," the official text released by the White House switched it to "Australian."
Then, speech done, Bush confidently headed out — the wrong way.
He strode away from the lectern on a path that would have sent him over a steep drop. Howard and others redirected the president to center stage, where there were steps leading down to the floor of the theater.
The event had inauspicious beginnings. Bush started 10 minutes late, so that APEC workers could hustle people out of the theater's balcony seating to fill the many empty portions of the main orchestra section below — which is most visible on camera.
Even resettled, the audience remained quiet throughout the president's remarks, applauding only when he was finished.
A logistical glitch added to the woes.
APEC security workers would not allow the members of the media who travel in Bush's motorcade to enter the Opera House along with him. This even though the journalists allowed into the president's entourage are extensively screened and guarded by the Secret Service, which has more stringent security standards than about any operation in the world. And even though they always accompany him into public events.
As a result, while Bush spoke, the traveling media cooled its heels outside the landmark Opera House, shooting pictures and watching boats in the harbor.

Thank you for explaining it. David Ike, Alex Jones ,and the rest of the truth seekers used code words which make everything clear as mud. They create an illumnati mythology which everybody understands (LOL). But why stop at the illuminati? Why not explain how the illiminism morhped into communism? Basiclly by not talking about Zionism they provide a framework in which the debate in contained. In other words, Jones and others will tell us the "facts" without upsetting their advertisers. I wil pass on Jones! I like my truth- straight no chaser. Spin is an amazing thing.

My position is clear. Jones is a disinformationalist and Mr. Parent cites his work. I reserve judgment of Mr. Parent until Mr. Parent clarifies his position.
I think Jones provides decent information on matters unrelated to 9/11, but insofar as he shifts the blame from Israel and the Zionists onto "Germanic death-cults" and "Luciferian controllers" (vis a vis 9/11 in particular), he has to be classed as a disinformationalist, regardless of whether or not he's in the pocket. He does a lot to raise the profile of 9/11 truth, but whether or not he does more harm than good is arguable. But the prisonplanet articles that I've seen Marc Parent blog are all examples of the ok stuff.
I like the way he says ILUmiNAAtI. However, I think his research should come with a disclaimer. Anyway, thanks for your honesty.

Ron Paul making neocons desperate
That was the title of the myspace bulletin I found these videos in, but unfortunately, it's a huge misnomer. Ron Paul gets "owned" by the Fox News propaganda machine, via their disingenuous bullshit, subterfuge, misdirection, and misrepresentation of his remarks on foreign policy.
Also, while the premise of these videos is that 9/11 was carried out by Arab terrorists, they're still well worth watching in order to understand how the right wing mainstream mafia twists and distorts Ron Paul's message, and the truth in general.
Also, here is a good article about why Kucinich is preferable to Ron Paul as president, but I still support Paul because I don't believe Kucinich has a snowball's chance in hell. Ron Paul, on the other hand, has a real chance if enough of us get behind him and make the right amount of noise. Support Ron Paul.
