Eulogy of a Peacemaker

Eulogy of a Peacemaker

Blessed are the Peacemakers :

They shall be called the Children of God Matt 5:9

Born Mohammed al-Husseini in 1929, his parents nicknamed him Yasser, which means "easy."

After graduating from the University of Cairo in the 1960s Arafat began his ascent in the Palestinian resistance or Fatah movement.

Arafat proved resilient as a leader, endearing himself to the United Nations with his goal of recognition for Palestinians. "We are not asking for the moon. Only for the right of self determination for five million Palestinian people," he told the United Nations.

In 1992, at the height of the first Intifada, Arafat shocked everyone by proposing peace. The world watched as he shook hands with his sworn enemy Yitzhak Rabin, a former army officer in the 1948 war that expelled hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes.

In 1994, Arafat shared a Nobel Peace Prize with Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres -- in what was seen as his transition to statesman. Even then, his gift as a true peacemaker was insulted by Zionists whom he was forced to share his merits with.

Suha Arafat, right, leans over to whisper to her husband, Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, left, during Christmas Midnight Mass on Dec. 25, 1999 in the Church of the Nativity in the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

Arafat became a political player and enjoyed a special relationship with Pope John Paul II -- Aug. 2, 2001.

In June of 2002, Arafat's headquarters in the West Bank town of Ramallah is badly damaged after a six-hour siege during which troops killed one of Arafat's guards and blew up offices of the Palestinian intelligence service.

Yasser Arafat died under suspicious circumstances on November 11, 2004. The truth and details surrounding the death of this mighty statesman and peacemaker of God,........... may never be fully known.

Farewell : My Brothers and Sisters

Farewell : PALESTINE !
His last request was to be buried in Jerusalem, with his fathers......
By order of cold-hearted Zionist dictators, he was buried in Gaza......
AMONG HIS CHILDREN !

..the zionists have no intention of allowing anything close to Palestinian autonomy, let alone their country and livelyhoods!

..it's all about divide and conquer, the zionuts supported Hamas when Fatah was popular.

..which reminds me of kissinger's famous statement "Let them kill each other", a commentary on the zionist instigation of the 8-year war and their support for both Iran and Iraq during said war.. if one side was losing, have some more weapons; chemical and bio WMD anyone?

..one million amalek dead, heil 'enry..
