Are they playing the Insanity Game?

We hear from all sides now, that Iran will be attacked in the next few days or weeks. There are all kinds of leaks coming from the military. from politicians, even from inside the Neocon camp. It looks extremely serious.

Until now the Iranian President Ahmadinejad, however, has repeatedly declared that he is sure, that the threat of a nuclear attack on Iran is probably an operation of psychological warfare. He assumes that the American government knows, that for either Israel or the United States to attack Iran would be insane, because it would harm American interests and severely endanger the safety of the Israeli people.

He might be right or wrong on this. We cannot be sure at this stage.

Since early last year there have been predictions that Iran will be attacked either by Israel or the United States. Again and again new deadlines for when this was going to happen have come and gone.

In recent years we are told that Bush, Cheney and the Neocons might actually be insane - insane enough to believe that they can start a nuclear world-war and win. The Neocons have long been called "the crazies" by paleo-conservative members of the political establishment.

Insanity of political leaders with their hand close to a nuclear switch is indeed the scariest thing imaginable.

But are they really clinically insane?

Are they psychotic?

Bush is said to hear voices and to have blown out his brain with cocaine he once used heavily. But George W. Bush is not really driving the political train, he just looks out of the drivers window.

It is said that Cheney and the Neocons have messed up in Iraq and now they want to escalate into Iran to cover up for their mistakes.

They have indeed not quite succeeded in all they had planned for Iraq yet, but they are still hopeful.

However, their plans have always been very much different from what most Americans and Europeans thought they were. They did not want to have an easy victory in Iraq, they wanted a breakup of the country. That´s why the aftermath of the war was deliberately mishandled.

This is why they sponsor "sectarian" violence of Sunnis against Shiites. However, more and more Iraqis have realized that acts of "sectarian" violence are in reality false flag operations by American, British or Israeli intelligence units or by mercenaries paid by them.

The Neocons have not given up yet. The death toll of those so-called "suicide bombings" are escalating while at the same time Sunni and Shia militias are talking to each other and coming to agreements of cooperation in hunting down so-called "AlQaeda" groups.

Why would any faithful Muslim martyr himself in an operation which kills dozens of Muslim civilians?

Why would he believe that his God would sanction that?

There is no logic in this.

But then we are told that Islamists are crazy.

However in targeting American and British troops, the Iraqi resistance has worked efficiently and rationally and so has driven those troops out of many areas in Iraq. Rational and strategic thinking does not go with psychopathy, but it might go with sociopathy. A sociopath, however, would never be capable of sacrificing himself for a greater good.

Cheney and the Neocons have not yet given up on their plans of dividing Iraq, by escalating death and suffering of the Iraqi people. They are sociopaths.

They have the same plans for Iran. But will they use the same methods?

What will happen, if Iran is attacked?

Iranians will defend themselves, no doubt. American weapons and especially American nukes can no doubt, destroy most Iranian cities and industrial installations and even big parts of the military hardware, and bomb the country into the stone-age eventually.
It will, however, be impossible even for the far superior American fire-power to destroy all of Iran´s missiles at first strike.

Some missiles will get through and they will hit Israel and hit it severely.

An attack on Iran might kill millions of Iranians, but it also will kill tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of Israelis.

Cheney, the Neocons and the Israeli government might be willing to sacrifice so many Israelis. The Jewish Israelis, however, would not want to sacrifice themselves.

Israeli Jews are not used to live in squalor and need either. They are not used to live like citizens of a developing country.

During a total war a lot of infrastructure would be destroyed, and the economy would no longer be able to provide Israeli Jews with the living-standard of an industrial country, the standard they are used to. They would leave Israel en masse.
A majority of Israelis have either been born in another country or have lived there for years. These people have viable options.

And since a war against Iran would last probably for many years, and if it spreads through the entire Islamic world, it would last for decades, those refugees would not return for all this time.

By the time the war is over the Zionist state would indeed have collapsed for lack of Jewish citizens who are willing to keep it running, just as the Iranian President has predicted.

While neither the Iranian leadership, nor the leadership of another Islamic country are insane enough to attack a nuclear armed Israel, allied with a nuclear super-power, the repercussion of an all out war against a big well-armed non-nuclear Islamic country would destroy Israel.

For people who care so much for Israel as the Neocons such a counter-productive move would indeed be insane.

But are they really insane or is this just another Macchiavellian ploy, an "insane game"?

Everybody knows that torture is a very unreliable way to extract information, far more efficient is the fear of being tortured.

If you would be the victim of a robbery, who would you be more afraid of, a cold-blooded gangster or a drug-addict who looks like he is already out of his mind?

Most people would be far more afraid of the crazy guy, than the rational one. You can´t reason with a crazy guy, you don´t know what he will do next. He is unpredictable.

Iran has been threatened with annihilation for over a year now, while at the same time terrorist groups sponsored by Britain, American and Israeli intelligence have been attacking inside the country. And the Bush administration has given the impression for quite a while that they are unpredictably crazy.

This could indeed make many Iranians nervous, especially those who oppose the current government. Already color- code revolutionaries financed by American elitist organizations have been send in to overthrow the government.

The subsequent civil-war, and there would be a civil-war for certain, would ensure that Iran would look like Iraq in no time at all. And if the Iranians would not oblige with a fierce enough civil war which would involve all non-Persian minorities, western intelligence would for sure be very helpful in financing every small separatist group they can find and sending a few well-trained mercenaries on top of them.

And then just like Iraq, Iran would be broken up in conveniently small pieces, conveniently small, so Israel would no longer feel threatened and could once again play the role of the biggest bully on the block.

This, at least, is the game plan.
This is the psychological war aimed at Iran which President Ahmadinejad is talking about.

It´s a game of nerves and at stake might be the lives of millions of people.

So far it looks as if the Iranian government and the Iranian people have far better nerves than most of us Westerners.

This game however is extremely risky even for Neocon standards, so dangerous for their own objectives, the security of Israel, that I still wonder, if they are not indeed insane.

I always wondered what Ahmadinejad what thinking. I do think our government is BatSh*t crazy. What we've done in Iraq is madness.

And what about these "fundamentalist Christians" who believe in the Apocalypse and then try to make it happen?

I think you're right. They've been playing crazy too long. They are indeed nucking futz.

If you are interested in what Ahmadinejad is thinking, then go through the archives of Iran-daily from mid 2005 until today, and also read the speeches he made and the open letters he wrote which are publicized on the net.
Unlike American politicians you can be sure Ahmadinejad writes his own speeches and he means what he says.

He is very close to the Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez.

And when you read the economic measures the Ahmadinejad government and the Chavez government are taking in their own countries, they are not so very different from what the "Social Agenda" of the Catholic Church is proposing.

As for the American government being nuts, you could be right.

But when I went as human rights activist to Palestine last spring I have seen with my own eyes, how Zionists play crazy in order to scare both Palestinians and Internationals.
I have read qotes by Zionists, which say that Israel must look like a mad dog, so nobody would mess with it. The "Samson option" could be such a mad dog thing.
That´s why I think they might not only do this "insanity game" on a street level, where I have seen it with my own eyes, but also on the high policy levels.

As for the crazy Christians. I have never ever personally met any hate-mongering Christians, neither Catholic nor otherwise, neither anti-islamic nor anti-jewish.
I have met Christians who believe the propaganda, that Muslims are dangerous and fanatic, but never any who want to kill´em all.

Once again I think, it´s exclusively the upper echolon of Christian Zionists, those who have been payed and supported by Zionist organisations, who promote hate-mongering.
The soldiers in the field are brain-washed by their military training and made crazy by the terrible conditions of war-fare.

Of course, I´m not an American and I never have lived in America either. You might have seen more craziness in ordinary Christians than I have.
