The "global warmers" are using all the tricks from their box.

My answer is: This kid definitely does not rock.
He might be misinformed or he might be a pathetic attempt of the Malthusian "global warmers" to rally even more teenagers to their man-hating cause.
We do have quite a few environmental problems in the world, for most of them remedies have already been developed, but are not used everywhere, mainly because of greed, for others they are in development.
We can prevent most of air- and water-pollution, with just a bit of good-will and good filter systems.
We can prevent soil erosion and many more environmental problems with the knowledge we already have and without imperiling human life.
But one thing is absolutely sure:
Global warming is not one of humanity´s problems.
We are not causing it, we cannot fix it, and it won´t hurt us really.
The drastic measures proposed are an elaborate ploy by a man-hating Malthusian elite to to cut down on human resources and transform agricultural fields into fuel producing entities, cutting down on global food-supplies, without even having any impact on CO2.
But that´s not the purpose anyway. Cutting down on food supply will induce new waves of malnutrition or even starvation in developing countries.
The CO2 reducing measures will also mean to prevent developing countries from developing. The ICCP report even tells us, that modern housing and fertilizer agriculture is causing part of the "global warming".
And the whole thing is then reasoned with a pseudo-science that stinks to the high heavens.
Former beneficient grassroots environmental movements have been taken over by a malicious man-hating agenda.
And if you are a person of good-will you will start to look at the evidence presented by real, conscientious climate scientists, who need a whole lot of courage to swim against the stream of the highly paid global warming advocates, agents for a vicious agenda.

Still promoting the twisted spin of Lindzen et al (www.wakeupfromyourslumber.com/node/834)? I would almost say I’m becoming a Malthusian, in your interpretation of the word I mean. Although I certainly think ‘misanthrope‘ is much better. The fact is you’re in danger of becoming a Malthusian yourself (in your sense of the word) by attributing to the confusion and blocking common sense.
Humanity is on the wrong track, even if Exxon’s sceptic team is trying to convince you otherwise. And it's the OVERdeveloped countries (or better: people) who should and need to change. For various reasons. On that we agree I think.
So I agree also biofuel is far from any solution. It's even worse: an ostrich who discovers a way to keep his head in the sand longer and without suffocating. And at the cost of other ostriches, both now and in the future. Biofuel is, for that matter, like the nuclear energy your friend Michael R. Fox is so enthusiastic about.

But it has a lot do with common sense and reading the historic records.
Earth has been a lot warmer during the medieval warming period about a thousand years ago and even still warmer during the Holocene maximum, 8000 years ago and there has been no runaway global warming effect then.
CO2 is only a minor greenhouse gas and has before only risen after the warming period had started.
The Hokey Stick has been discredited.
Computer models differ in their assessments of actual warming widely, especially since a lot of climate data is left out of them.
But then, for people who have made up their minds about "evil humanity" destroying the planet, neither historic nor statistical data counts, and all facts be damned.
The majority of western population has since the 1970s Club of Rome been gradually indoctrinated to the Malthusian world view and a hatred of humanity.
That´s a sad state of affairs. And the worst thing of it all is, that those who will suffer the most, will be people who have never consented to a Malthusian world view, the population of the developing countries.
But then, that´s typical for a Malthusian world view. Those who ascribe to it, are always those who believe that they and only they are the ones, who because of their specialness have a higher right to life and wellbeing than the rest of the world's population.
My bet is, you either have never gone through the evidence presented by non-global warming scientists, since it would be to much of a paradigm shift to change your mind, or you might even be paid in some way or other for your global warming views.
It´s big business after all to be a member of the global warming indoctrination machine.
