The (not so) subtle destruction of language
I remember when Clinton was going through the impeachment proceedings, and how he was able to lie while trying not to. He used clever manipulation of words, and their definitions like "it depends on what the definition of is is." I remember then analyzing politician's speech and noticing how they got away with sounding like they had a message but really said nothing, or how they got around using outright lies. Bush and this administration are no strangers to these techniques also, by using vague terms like "terrorists" he is not technically lying about how perpetrated the "terrorist attacks", yes the people behind the attacks were "terrorists" who hate our freedoms, oh the irony of it all, yes the terrorists do hate our freedoms, he wasn't lying, he was telling the truth. Its all deception, it is hard to catch the president in an outright lie, sure he used forged niger yellow cake documents to get us into war, but hey, he didn't know they were fake, it was due to incompetence.
One of Orwell's biggest warnings in 1984 was newspeak. The assault on language has been ongoing for some time now, and people's vocabularies have been severely reduced, most people used so much vulgarity, and talk nothing but about their own personal lives or things of little to no importance. They simply don't have the vocabulary to discuss important things. Now the problem at the top of the pyramid is the abuse of language by lawyers, judges, politicians, who can spin words around so that they mean whatever they want them to mean. Academics also make it worse by creating new words and isms, to such an excessive extent that one must learn a whole new set of words and be a super expert just to talk about one specialized field of inquiry.
The news media sets the standards for the lay people, as to what terms to use when discussing the issues if they ever do discuss issues. So we find ourselves using terms like terrorists, islamofascists, conspiracy theorits, surge, and other nonsense, which is only meant to distort the truth. Quite literally "news speak" is what we have to fight against, as it is trying to control the debate by controlling the very words we use. We should also be careful what words we use, labels such as zionist may work for some but necessarily all at the top, and in general it is better to name specifics than generalize.

Words are the most precise tools we have to convey information to eachother.
And accurate information, i.e., the truth, is vital for our survival.
Therefore, by far, LIES are the worst weapons of mass destruction on earth, since LIES can never withstand the test of time and anything based upon them, eventually perishes.

(Not with respect to lies, of course, but that I might better convey what certain truths I learn and know.)
In a much simpler sense, I find that in my dealings with people everyday that most people simply cannot treat each other with respect when speaking.
The people I work with speak to each other in a manner I find bizzare, they curse at each other, flip each other off, although they are just "joking". I understand that they mean no harm, and I do not get upset over it. Today for instance, a few things said to my face were things like :I hate you, You suck, so on and so forth. And although they think they are just kidding around, I believe that what they actually doing is masking their low sense of self worth by putting it onto others.
I know that this is the majority of the population that behaves this way. The thought of being open with other people and honest leads to a false persona they must keep up with others, they are predictable characters, not unique and independent individuals. Most people are still kindhearted underneath an exterior character, but they do not realize that this joking around, or sarcasm is the outward symptom of their internal belief system.
This may be a bit harder to explain, and I don't really have too much time, but I feel that it is a kind of anti-humanistic sentiment that allows for this type of character. It is tied together now by "science", as centuries old malthusian arguments resurface, that humans are some sort of scourge on the planet. Global Warming is key to the belief that humans are a detrimental force on the planet. We are also told that we are basically animals, and that were are in a sense, genetically pre-determined, and that it is an illusion that we have control over our own lives. Depression is a chemical imbalance, nothing more, Homosexuality is nothing more than a genetic trait. It is also supposed that because our DNA is so similar to others that we are basically all the same, and that we are really nothing more than smart chimps.
Oh yes, there is also the belief that people are "basically stupid" or are "retarded". And then "history" shows us how evil people are, especially Germans and Arabs.
Just by being around these people I can glean from some conversations in which they mention these things, but mostly by their demeanor in general what their beliefs are. And it is no suprise they think these things, its taught in school, its on tv, parroted in movies, spoken about at great length by really "important" and "intellectual" proffesors, who in most cases are propelled to the top based on how well they take to and master the programming.
Certainly those sitting atop in the eye of the pyramid, must think very little of the human race in general, as they very well show. They are probably of the belief that their is no essential nature to human beings and that we can basically be conditioned to accept or do just about anything. Sadly this belief has had a trickle down effect, as most people are the victim of a kind of mental slavery. So they act as slaves, no self respect only selfishness, no honesty only sarcasm, and they only think in terms of a master-slave dialectic, in which they are constantly invovled in a struggle with everyone else for recognition, having lost the ability to treat others as equals.

I also refuse to be classified as a "caucasian" because to the best of my knowledge, none of my ancestors ever lived in the Caucausas region. The terms nordic, celtic, germanic, romanic, hellenic, slavic, etc. are more accurate. I don't wish to be associated with the people of the Caucausas anymore than they want to be declared from Erie.
Words are powerful weapons that can have an insidious effect on history if they are allowed to sneak into your camp.
I refuse to classify an enemy based on blood or religon. Actions and political philosophy are different. It is by those that you know them.

Beautiful! Beauchard, you've just described in a nutshell the spiritual condition of the human race. Sarcasm, cynicism and put-downs are all symptoms of the darkness of our times.
