Israel claims to have bombed Syrian nuclear facilities

Looks like those WH lies about Iraqi "mushroom clouds", courtesy of the American Enterprise Institute that was repeated ad nauseam by the duplicitous Condi Rice and that lover of death and destruction, Dick Cheney, are now going to be recycled so the war mongers in both Israel and Washington, D.C. can have that "smoking gun" evidence they so desperately want for their next war of aggression.

NY Times: IAF recently photographed nuclear facilities in Syria

The New York Times on Wednesday quoted a Bush Administration official as saying Israel recently photographed possible nuclear installations in Syria.

The comments come amid ongoing silence in Israel regarding Damascus' allegations that the Israel Air Force fired missiles at ground targets deep in Syria during an overflight last week.

"One Bush administration official said Israel had recently carried out reconnaissance flights over Syria, taking pictures of possible nuclear installations that Israeli officials believed might have been supplied with material from North Korea," the paper wrote. "The administration official said Israeli officials believed that North Korea might be unloading some of its nuclear material on Syria"

"The Israelis think North Korea is selling to Iran and Syria what little they have left," the New York Times quoted the official as saying.

So, pray tell, where are the satellite photos of these alleged nuclear sites in Syria? Both Israel and the U.S. have enormous satellite recon abilities to peer down and see things on the ground to such fine resolutions that satellites can read news print on the earth's surface from 60 miles high in the sky.

Also, these alleged nuclear sites struck by the IDF should have left a cloud of radioactive materials wafting around the ME. Are there any countries in the region detecting spikes in their radiation monitors?

Or is this story just another in a long line of lies, disinformation and propaganda coming from the rabid LIKUDNIK'S in Israel?
Notice that the U.S. official quoted in the story remains anonymous. WHY? If the info is legit, then there should be no need to hide behind a curtain.
Unless that official was trying to disseminate a pack of lies to help jump start the war against Iran.

Using some of the same LIES that got the U.S. into the illegal war against Iraq. Check out this article from December 2001 and the exchange between Senator John McCain and interviewer Chris Matthews:

"Then he fell back to what he believed to be his Maginot Line, the argument that trumps all arguments. My nightmare – I have several nightmares about Saddam Hussein, but one of them is the that SCUD missile which he has. . . that's in the view of most, aimed at Israel. Aimed at Israel."

Well then, said Matthews, why doesn't Israel take them out?

McCain, stunned, hemmed and hawed for a moment, and finally said:

"Because I'm not sure we should ask the Israelis to do – to take care of a threat to the United States of America."

Matthews: "But you just said it was a threat to Israel."

McCain: "Well to world peace, I think."

Just substitute the word Iran for Iraq and presto, chango, before you know it, the U.S. is fighting another ME war for Israel.

The Zionist's are desperate to start another of aggression in the ME, with the U.S. leading the way by bombing to hell and gone Iran.

Since Iran and Syria have a defense pact, perhaps Israel is hoping that by attacking Syria, Iran will honor that pact and help Syria fight.

If that happens, then the war mongers in both the White House and Congress will have the flimsy excuse they need to launch their next war of aggression, this one against Iran.
