In a stealth maneuver, President Bush has signed into law a provision which, according to Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont), will actually encourage the President to declare federal martial law (1).
It does so by revising the Insurrection Act, a set of laws that limits the President's ability to deploy troops within the United States. The Insurrection Act (10 U.S.C.331 -335) has historically, along with the Posse Comitatus Act (18 U.S.C.1385), helped to enforce strict prohibitions on military involvement in domestic law enforcement.
With one cloaked swipe of his pen, Bush is seeking to undo those prohibitions. Public Law 109-364, or the "John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007" (H.R.5122) (2), which was signed by the commander in chief on October 17th, 2006, in a private Oval Office ceremony, allows the President to declare a "public emergency" and station troops anywhere in America and take control of state-based National Guard units without the consent of the governor or local authorities, in order to "suppress public disorder."
As I read through this piece by Frank Morales, I thought – what are those nit-wits who support Bush and his gang of criminals going to do when Federal agents knock down THEIR door and drag THEIR asses out of THEIR homes to ‘protect’ THEM from some undisclosed, non-specific threat?
And then I thought – What can they do?
NOTHING.
By then, it will be too late.
That’s what happens when you don’t take specific action to counter CLEAR and PRESENT dangers posed by those who are ‘sworn to protect you’ from ‘someone else.’
They end up coming for YOU – Not someone else.
You think horror movies are scary – you ain’t seen nothing yet.
Americans will soon learn – the hard way – that this is one nightmare they can’t walk away from.
That article and video sent shivers. I can't believe this is going on in America either, the land of the free. Bush can now potentially arrest anyone who deems an enemy. I have read articles where they are thinking to go after bloggers, because they think it is potential breeding grounds for terrorists. What madness is this! Americans must make a stand before we are all in jail.

Scary is right...and "the rich" best remember their spacious McMansions will be most suitable to house large numbers of troops.

I realize that my views are too radical for most but, in totally self searching reality, you also know what it's coming down to. No amount of voting nor haranguing nor anything else has slowed the NWO onslaught.
