Concerning the last quote you included, the idea of people sitting around in smoke-filled rooms deciding the fate of the planet seems fantastic. It is not fantastic. When you understand the power of private central banking, fractional reserve banking, compound interest, and debt-based currency, you see why people meet secretly and frequently. They have to. When you get a $200,000 mortgage, the bank does not lend $200,000 to you or to anyone else. The bank simply starts to accept your mortgage payments. If you default, the bank gets your house. The bank has risked no money, and lent no money, yet it can use your debt as currency. It’s the ultimate scam! Limitless money and power!
This scam is illegal under the rules of contractual law 101. Under basic contractual law, there must be an offer, plus an acceptance, and a “consideration,” i.e., some good or service. I give you ‘X,’ and you give me ‘Y.’ The ‘X’ is a “consideration.” What consideration does the bank give? NOTHING!
There is no federal, state, county, or municipal law anywhere in the USA that allows the banks to do this. There are only general laws that say the banks control it all.
Isn’t it amazing that so many Presidents and other people have exposed this nightmare, yet the masses don’t care? Isn’t it amazing that everyone is concerned about money, yet almost no one thinks about how it’s created, or where it comes from?

Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi said it is true that Kissinger met privately with the pope Sept. 28 and that Mary Ann Glendon, a U.S. law professor and president of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, has invited Kissinger to speak to the academy at the Vatican in late April.
"Those are the only two concrete facts," Father Lombardi told Catholic News Service.
Articles in Italian and U.S. newspapers reporting that the pope had asked Kissinger to become an adviser or consultant "are without any foundation," he said Dec. 4.
A New York-based correspondent for the Italian newspaper La Stampa wrote Nov. 4 that Kissinger had told an "important member of the Italian government" of the papal offer and that "a diplomatic source" at the Vatican had confirmed that "an important dialogue is under way" between the pope and Kissinger.
The rumor has been circulating in newspapers and on the Internet since the newspaper article was published.

Regarding thx1138's comment about mortgages: I don't think mortgages are necessarily as sinister as you are depicting them to be. Don't the plumbers and carpenters and masons that build the home need to get paid?
What is dangerous is the ABUSE of the financial system. People who control the money supply control the value of the dollar. They can lend cheap dollars, shrink the money supply, and get repaid in more valuable dollars. Or they can borrow valuable dollars, expand the money supply and repay in cheap dollars.
I don’t imply that mortgages are sinister. I object to the overall nature of our system of currency and banking. Control must not be private and secret. Currency must not be debt-based currency.
Once these two things are gone, our world will change completely.
Private control and debt-based currency have been around since Jews formed the Bank of England in 1656. It's time to render them extinct.
