Ahmadinejad Wants Bush Debate, Global Referendum

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday proposed holding a public debate with his US counterpart George W. Bush at the United Nations this month and a "global referendum" to decide who was right.
Ahmadinejad confirmed in an interview with Iranian television he would be visiting Iran's arch enemy the United States for the third time to take part in the General Assembly next week.
"I proposed it last year. I will go to New York. Let's sit down and talk. But not behind closed doors.
"I propose discussing international questions at the UN General Assembly in order to solve them," he added.
"Our aim is to solve global problems," he continued. "He (Bush) gives his position and I give mine. The representatives of 200 countries meet there and they can judge," he said.
Ahmadinejad offered Bush a public debate before he traveled to the United Nations last year, a proposal that was spurned by the White House which said the suggestion was not serious.
In the interview with Iran's international Jam-e Jam Farsi language channel, Ahmadinejad also went one step further by mooting a "global referendum" to see who out of Iran and the United States had the better ideas.
"We will propose our solutions to solve the world questions and they (the Americans) can propose their solutions. We will organize a global referendum and the people can vote," he said.
"The solution that wins the most votes will be applied."
Ahmadinejad's offers come at a moment of increasing tension between Iran and the United States, which accuses the Islamic republic of seeking nuclear weapons.
Iran vehemently denies the allegations it is seeking an atomic weapon, saying its nuclear drive is aimed at providing electricity for a growing population whose fossil fuels will one day run out.
Despite his enthusiasm for a public debate with Bush, Ahmadinejad nonetheless ruled out the possibility of bilateral negotiations with the United States.
"This does not mean we want to negotiate with the United States. They want to say that Iran is under pressure and needs the United States. But it's not like that. We do not need anyone."
hate most about Ahmadinejad, is that he does not grovel.
He puts himself as equal to George Bush, and his country as equal to America or any European country.
But if you watch or read the interviews western media "personalities" do with him you can see those reporters dripping with racism.
Would any reporter ever say to a western politician "you are an interesting character, aren´t you?"
These reporters do not even notice how they are discrediting themselves in front of their audience when they talk like this in this day and age.
Of course Bush could never be able to debate Ahmadinejad in any reasonable way.
But it would be fun to watch.
An open debate without scripts agreed to in advance?

it is quite clear who world's most dangerous terrorists are if you listen to mainstream media news. Israel, US, UK and French hungarian Sarkonazi are all openly threatening to bomb sovereign country that according to internationally agreed treaty has full right to pursue and seek assistance from member countries in order to acquire nuclear energy. Iran is like any other country (or is it?) when considering national security issues related to civil and military installations. In the same way that no western country would allow inspections in their sensitive installations for very good reason of national security that can be breached so easily (as seen in prelude to aggression on Iraq), Iran is not stupid enough to allow Zionist agents into its installations especially after witnessing Iraq fiasco. West knew damn well from intel of their agents that Iraq had no WMDs but they used their intel to pinpoint targets in future bombings. Why would anyone in his right mind allow foreign inspectors (mostly spooks) to cruise unhindered wherever and and whenever they want in their own country. By the way nuclear and WMD issues is completely bogus argument because what Beaast really don't want in ME is a nuclear deterrent against its own illegal aggression and oppression of the third world nations. Bush is so stupid he can not debate even with himself let alone with person like Ahmedinejjad. Bush and multiple heads of the western Beast do not want debate because they are not interested in truth and justice but greedy devouring of anyone daring to look them straight in the eye with no fear or complex of inferiority. They hate Muslims in particular because it is so hard for them to frighten them with anything. Boldness of Muslims is creating continuous paranoia in this Beast and they will not rest until they do away with all Muslims irrelevant of them being moderate or fundamental in attitude. In his last sermon Prophet of Islam said "Do not oppress and don't be oppressed!" but this is so unacceptable to permanent members of UN oppression. So when all of their united slandering and warmongering fails they resort to brute force to silence opposition, and this is democracy that we are inviting world to (of course with cruise missiles and tactical nukes). Reality check: some people would rather die than be slaves of this Beast and you can call them whatever you want but in reality they are beacons of Divine light that disturb darkness of the tyrannical world we live in. God has destroyed many civilizations before and its not hard for him to do it again if they chose to breach the limits He has set for mankind. Those who follow history know that we have records of ancient civilizations using nuclear and other sophisticated weaponry, yet do we see any of them today?! What happened to them? I bet they believed that they are untouchable and so superior to others but now their powers rest in archaeological ruins. Terrorist are those that oppress and threaten to oppress causing serous anxiety in the opposing party members. Who is threatening with invasion and bombings, West or East? Where is truth and justice, in West or in East? By God, whoever lives by the sword will die by the sword.
