Hassan Nasrallah and Hezbollah
This is the first time I've seen Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah being fairly portrayed in US media and not being 'demonized' as is usually the case by MEMRI or any of the other Zionist-controlled propaganda machines such as CNN, Fox, CBS, ABC, Sky, CNBC and on and on.. the list is long. Dare I think that there is a growing challenge to Zionist controlled media inside the United States? If so, it is entirely thanks to the indepent media sources of the internet who are able to provide the English speaking world with unpreduciced and objective news. Nasrallah is nothing close to what the Israel lobby would like Americans to believe. He is brilliant, very dignified, correct, strong and highly respected and admired in the Middle East. He also has a lot of humor.., but you have to be an Arabic speacker to appreciate that. I have never seen US media do him justice with the exception of this interview by former US ambassador Eduard Peck on Democracy Now.
Please note that this interview took place before Hezbollah held the last 2 Israeli soldiers captive. Hezbollah's strategy towards Israel is very well outlined in this interview and the fact the Israeli soldiers were captured by Hezbollah, obviously came as no surprise to Israel or the US.

Yes, I have heard about Nasrallah's humor, but I don't speak Arabic.
I also heard that Nasrallah has a slight speech impediment, which he uses to make fun of himself. This endears him to listeners.
It is my understanding that he became the leader because he was steady amid the chaos.
It is also my understanding that the Hezbollah intelligence network is the only one the israelis have never been able to infiltrate.
In the tapes your provided, Nasrallah talks about a time when older leaders said israel cannot be defeated, and that any young person who disagreed was considred foolish. I would like to learn more about this.
I remember the Amal movement, which rose up during the civil war. Apparently the young lions of Hezbollah felt the Amal movement was too willing to make political compromises, and could not defend South Lebanon. The Amal movement is still there, of course. Last year I saw photos of their green flags on caskets of people the israelis murdered. Hezbollah caskets had red coverings, or the yellow Hezbollah flag. Christian or non-aligned caskets had the Lebanese flag, and so on.
It was awful. And the U.S. Congress cheered the israelis, as Congress did in 1982. What a disgrace.
When will the world learn that zionists have no friends, and can never be appeased?

Indeed he is … and that usually is not the case of such strong, powerful yet ‘righteous’ leaders . When he is not giving a speech live or in public, he is very calm, soft spoken and endearing. He also has a nice voice and speaks an excellent quality of Arabic. You may know that there is classical Arabic which is like the Quran’s Arabic and which is the Arabic taught in schools… and there is colloquial Arabic which differs from country to country or even region to region. Nasrallah’s Arabic is extremely rich and beautiful. It’s a mixture of classical Arabic with tones of the Lebanese accent which is regarded as very cute by other Arabs.
It is my understanding that he became the leader because he was steady amid the chaos.
There is no chaos in Hezbollah..
This is to give you an example of how we use the “evil eye”:) When we compliment someone to much… or speak highly of someone we like… we prefer to ‘cover’ him/her with the something to protect him/her from the powers of the ‘evil eye’. A turquoise/blue colored bead which works the same way as the eye I just posted above. It ads “extra protection” to the person we have been complementing or discussing so that only positive ‘energies’ would reach him/her… and no negative energies would penetrate. All this is of course in the realm of “folklore”…, but it is folklore that we like and that some people really believe in.
Let me try to give you an example and I will pretend that I personally know you:
If I were to tell you for example:
Hey thx1138… you are always healthy and never get sick (in good faith)… then you wake up the next morning sick… then I would have 'envied' you in good faith though you!
If I were to tell you that I never had problems with my car… and a few hours later my car isn’t functioning… then I would have 'envied' my car. Most of us have blue beads or something representing the evil eye to ‘protect’ something we basically cherish. I definitely am not envious of my car…, but I ‘cast an eye’ on it without realizing it.
It is also my understanding that the Hezbollah intelligence network is the only one the israelis have never been able to infiltrate.
It seems so

I don’t quite know what he meant, but I imagine that older generations may have felt overpowered by Israel considering the amount of defeats they witnessed. Younger generations do not carry that burden… and youth is always more daring than then elders. Maybe that is what he meant?
