Top U.S. General in Iraq Blames Public's Antiwar Views on the Media
Well, gee, General Ricky, it couldn't be Americans are tired of supporting a war that was sold to us by a pack of liars, spinning endless lies about nonexistent WMD's, now could it, Ricky?
Gosh, it couldn't be that Americans are sick and tired of seeing some 4,000 of our kids, being "deployed" back home for the last time in a "transfer tube", dead forever and ever?
Shucks, let's not even bring up the close to 50,000 of our soldiers and marines, horribly wounded for life, by the war that was launched based on a pack of lies.
Sold to us by a pack of thieves, liars and murderers who are now desperately trying to sell us another illegal war of aggression, against Iran.
Huh, guess it couldn't be the nearly ONE TRILLION DOLLARS spent so far on the war against Iraq, with several trillion more needed to try and patch up what is left of that nation?
And let's discount the fact that our world standing has been severely damaged by that illegal war of aggression we launched against Iraq, forever earning the U.S. the label of a nation of war criminals.
But hey, this reality is soooo boring. If only Baghdad had its own version of Britney Spears, General Ricky, then your American MSM could report on the brighter side of Iraqi life, instead of barely mentioning the over ONE MILLION Iraqi civilians we've slaughtered.
Yep, General Ricky, we need more mindless blather about how the slow motion Iraqi train wreck is actually "GOOD. DOUBLE GOOD" for us red, white and blue uber patriots.

NEW YORK Maj. Gen. Rick Lynch, commander of the Army's 3rd Infantry Division, said Thursday, back in the U.S. on leave at Fort Stewart, that the war in Iraq is "a winnable mission" if the the media would only cooperate.
"If the American people are informed properly," Lynch told reporters after he arrived home on leave, "I believe they will be supportive of the mission. But they're not getting the right story. As a result, they're anti the war."
The media use a "filter" that downplays information about American successes: "All I'm seeing when I watch TV ... is the bad news and not the good news."
