The mining using cheap labor led naturally to exploitation and human rights violations, like what the Spanish did to enslave Native Americans in digging out gold, silver and gems.

The mindset of greediness obliterate any remnant of moral discipline as the hoarders seek to consolidate maximum wealth at the expense of the working class and the economically disadvantaged. This is how Dick Cheney and the corporate predators & war profiteers think and breathe -- nothing but luxuries.

There's no Heaven for the ultimately selfish wealthy people who exploit and oppress the people, animals and environment in seeking more riches to extract, in labor and blood.
