American culture in particular is devoid of human contact, where people identify with the TerrorVision, computers and inanimate objects in their quest for power and glory as an army of one! (quest for profit and idolization, all by yourself) Some even empathize more with their virtual computer games more than real life; this group will resort to excessive drug use as well, to hide from the harsh realities out there. We have all been brainwashed with stories about thieves, murderers, child perverts and plenty of other sick sh*t; this makes us jaded and FEARFUL, not as likely to be different and gregarious, and much more easily controlled, which is the main goal.
