and I completely support this ban as its cause was utterly unproductive and detrimental to the credibility of posters. This kind of ban is not infringing on our freedom to express our views on any topic which does not relate to personality assassination. Good on you sis.

I agree - qrswave is the best arbiter. A "zero tolerance" policy will lead to a more productive use of time for all. Most importantly, qrswave will not be placed in such an unenviable position of having to be fair to all "sides" when posters are almost mortal enemies, even though ironically they are supposed to be on the same side. Voluntary restraint was only a partial solution, since even minor disputes could easily flare up into full scale attacks.

I did say in this comment only yesterday that we ought to try to get along.

As the new policy was introduced, it was about 15 hours since my last post, and the personal attacks were still ongoing :-)

I don't mind profane language IN THE PROPER CONTEXT....it has to mean something.

To just throw smut around just for the sake of throwing it around is so dull and useless, a major turn off.

Yikes! I hope it's needless to point out that very much sympathize with your position Qrswave, and find your solution eminently reasonable, under the circumstances, &c. Also, if I myself suddenly cease to post, it sadly has to do (and it hurts me to confess) with personal problems and domestic issues-- mostly revolving around $$$ and &c. I have been trying to figure out why QRS lets people drive traffic to another site.

Neither will answer wether the person in question is an admin, whom I also believe to be the one who banned me.

My first exchange with this person was very strange, him acting like he'd talked with me before, yet my never having done it. It was just like THX1178 poster. Same weird shit.

Also, banning someone because you dont want people to know you have special priviledges is quite cowardly IMO. and dis-ingenuous.

I complained several times about this infighting between bloggers but mostly it was ignored and finally rule was imposed to stop this wasting of energy and space on this blog. Why should I care who mparent is or is not. If writes something that I disagree with I will comment on it without personally insulting him and that is what we all should be doing. I would disagree with bans on this blog on basis of fights on other blogs because that would be unethical and against freedom of speech but I am fully behind ban to personal insults between bloggers on this site. There is no such thing as absolute freedom neither here or in the universe. You like it or not our freedoms are limited by other's freedoms. Having that in mind let us be decent and avoid using mean and rude word directed at other bloggers irrelevant what they believe and stand for. We may disagree and even insult certain ideologies and political stands but not the person itself. Thats all I have to comment on this topic.

I am not trying to find real names, locations, etc.

I am asking two simple questions about a blog I read.
1- Who posting herein is an admin?
2- Is the mparent7777 poster an admin?

(actually one question if the first one gets answered)

Thats it. Whenever first asking it, I simply asked.

And I find it strange, that most of the zealous questioners of all things politic, who post on this blog, havent the inclination to wonder who is in control of this blog.

Youre interested in who is in control of your money, your govts, your foreign policies, your television, your radio, your religious groups, etc... but not who is in control of this place where you post things you dont say to your neighbors.

You dont find a disconnect there?
I do.

And no matter how you phrase it, or spin it, one can look back at the beginnings of the question posed, and see that I originally simply asked a question, normally and without "infighting", or whatever it is you wish to paint MY question as.

And it is a fair question.

Simple, fair, and strangely unanswered for the past month. During that time, my account was deleted for a while.
