‘The Israel Lobby’ Goes International
brought him on to ridicule him and the book.
But, I'm sure that Mearsheimer must have known that that was going to happen.
Nevertheless - this is an important milestone in American politics.
The israel Lobby is now as mainstream as it gets.

..Mearsheimer alludes to the fact that we're fighting war in Iraq for the benefit of israel (and america sic), yet denies that their lobby is 'pernicious' or that they are controlling the government!
..yah, they're just like the AARP, except for those false-flag attacks and subsequent wars, you know!
..gotta hate that flag on the cover of the book though!

Yes, I think that 'not pernicious' answer was about his only misstep during this important interview, however. And his best point was pointing out that'jews' were not to blame, per se-- but Israel, &c. Same simple, certain-seeming truth as Daryl Smith has constantly maintained.
In other words, the jewish lobby MAY be legal and so 'acceptable' as far as the system is set up (still wrong, as we all know)-- but to classify it (the lobby) as being 'not pernicious' is a bad joke right on the face of 't.
