Rice, Gates, ignore Putin's requests

Rice and U.S. Defense Secretary Gates are currently in Moscow.

Today Putin told them to back off on installing missiles in Poland, or risk harming relations with Moscow.

Putin said Russia might dump a 1987 missile treaty with the USA if the 1987 treaty is not expanded to constrain other missile-armed countries. The treaty eliminated the deployment of Soviet and American intermediate range ballistic missiles.

Reporters in the room say Rice and Gates were visibly taken aback at the firm tone of Putin' remarks.

Nonetheless, Rice said the missiles will be installed.

Gates and Rice met Putin at his dacha, or residence, outside of Moscow to begin a series of meetings on various topics, beginning with Russia's opposition to the U.S. missiles in Poland.

Shortly before the talks with Putin began, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov strolled into the dacha's billiards room, where American reporters had gathered. He was asked whether he expected any breakthroughs in the talks.

"Breaks, definitely. Whether they’re breakthroughs or breakdowns, I don’t know.”

The Pentagon will install 10 missiles in Poland, plus a missile tracking radar in the Czech Republic. The Pentagon claims the missiles will protect Europe from long-range Iranian missiles, but Russia believes the missiles are intended to undermine the deterrent value of Russia’s nuclear arsenal.

The Bush regime is pushing for new sanctions to punish Iran, but has yet to gather enough backing at the United Nations for such a move. Russia and China oppose new sanctions.

Rice, on her way to Moscow, accused Iran of "lying" about the aim of its nuclear program and deceiving the IAEA about its intentions.

Putin says there is no proof that Tehran is trying to build a nuclear weapons program.

Next week, Putin will go to Iran for the first time. He will attend a summit meeting of Caspian Sea nations.

In other news, General David McKiernan --commander of United States Army Europe-- said a “resurgent Russia” is one more reason the Army should keep 44,000 soldiers in Europe, rather than cut to 24,000 as planned by 2010. One Army brigade is currently in Vilseck, Germany. Another is in Italy. The USA also has troops in Kosovo.

McKiernan is also commander of the U.S. 7th Army. “We don’t know what’s going to happen, in terms of a resurgent Russia.”

McKiernan says U.S. military commanders are monitoring Russia for indications that its military is once again on the rise.

“We keep an eye on certain indicators, some of which we’ve seen already,” such as a resumption of long-range reconnaissance flights, “arms sales to nation- states that [the United States] has differences with,” and indications that Russia is becoming involved with border conflicts in Georgia and Azerbaijan.”

I was born at night but not last night!

The U.S. is putting that missile shield to protect the ESTATES of their lord and master in France, London, Buckinghamshire, and their alpine resorts and hideaways.

When the missile shield was announced the Russians resumed Bear bomber flights toward England. English fighters were scrambled to intercept. A new target set aimed at the heart of the thieving sabbateans. The message is clear.

The battle is between Putin's New Russia and the Rothschilds! With Khodorkovsky rotting in a Siberian TB prison and the rest of Rothschild's oligarchs running for fear of same or worse, the lines are clearly drawn.

Putin has delivered a huge blow to the long term Rothschild plan by depriving them of Russian wealth - wealth they need to complete their conquest of the resources of the world.

And of course no target set is complete without that refuge for criminals and psychopaths - ziostan!
