Terrorism “expert” says people who don’t get news from MSM become “extremist”
New South Wales Police counter-terrorism head Nick Kaldas (photo below) says one reason some Middle Eastern Australians develop extremist views is that they do not get their news from local sources.
Addressing a security forum in Sydney Australia today, Kaldas says police have found a section of Middle Eastern migrants watch news from overseas stations.
He said this means their views are shaped by opinions in the "homeland," and it places them at risk of being inspired by terrorists.
"If you look at somebody say, from a Middle Eastern background who may arrive here without too many language skills, that person will almost certainly get most of his media from a very narrow area," he said.
"People have access obviously quite rightly to a lot of newspapers either from the homeland or a local version here.
"Some people also have Al Jazeera and a lot of other channels. Some in fact have been reported to have the Hezbollah channel."

If he was really honest and objective in his statement he should mention that had the MSM been honest and objective in reporting news there would be no need for anyone to watch overseas or alternative news sources. Has he just arrived from the ME, Bali or Thailand beach or he has tanned genes in his skin. Origin of Kaldas? Dig in if you can...He has right on his opinion but so do we even if it does not agree with Zionist MSM.
"Let there be Light!"
Kaldas is an Indian name, which suggests that his family originally came from India or perhaps Bali. I don’t know much about him, except that he took his current post in March 2006, and is very ambitious. He wants to be head Commissioner of the New South Wales Police, which is a state police force (as opposed to a city police force). The New South Wales Police is one of the biggest law enforcement agencies in the English-speaking world. It has 17,000 employees, including more than 13,300 police officers in more than 500 police stations.
From 2002 to 2005, 45 of its officers were dispatched to East Timor (just north of Australia).
Naturally they also went to Bali after Mossad and the Australians bombed the nightclub in October 2002, killing 202 people. This was Australia’s 9-11. It was an inside job. The Australian government used it as an excuse to become like the Bush regime in the USA. Of course the Australian media blamed it on Muslims – specifically an “al-Qaeda-connected” group known as the Jemaah Islamiyah. Total bullshit. The October 2005 bombing killed 20 people, and (as always) was blamed on Muslims. Both bombings happened at a time when many Australians were on holiday in Bali. They were designed to legitimize police oppression. The 2005 bombing was also an excuse for Indonesia’s president President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to cash in on the “war on terror.”
Kaldas is always looking to score a “terrorist bust.” He’s noted for recruiting Muslim informers from places like the southwest part of Sydney.
He’s also head of the “Public Order Management,” which controls anti-war demonstrations.
He’s also involved with the State Protection Group, which has SWAT teams.
I suspect he is very tight with Mossad, which is very active in Southeast Asia.
We would love to use MSM if they played their intended role as provider of information, but they have degenerated into entertainment and propaganda for their owners (who often "own" the government as well).
Just one example of distortion of news should make the point:

Thanks for that link back to Cherifa's excellent post. In the context of the hoax about Ahmadinehjad saying "wipe israel off the map," here's something that shows the "truth" of mainstream media...
