israel “secretly excavating” Temple Mount
(IsraelNN.com) The Southern Wing of the Islamic Movement in Israel claims the Israeli Antiquities Service is conducting secret excavations near the Temple Mount.
In a press conference held Sunday by the movement's leaders, MK Ibrahim Sarsour showed photos he said proved his claims.
Sarsour said the Antiquities Service had paid USD 60,000 to buy a store that had belonged to an Arab near the Mount, "just a few dozen meters from the walls of Al Aksa", and began secretly conducting excavations.
The store, he claimed, "is closed all of the time and nobody knows what is going on inside it".
The Antiquities Service DENIED the charges Sunday, saying no digging was going on, and "certainly not clandestinely".
Of course, they denied it! They wouldn't be israeli if they admitted it.
Unfortunately, you can pretty much rest assured that israelis are always up to no good, their repeated denials notwithstanding.
