Iran Criticizes Violation of Human Rights in West
The colonialist west uses "Human rights" as a weapon to keep third world countries under western domination. "Human rights" are used as a standard of measure to either punish or reward third world governments.
Iran now turns the tables around and exposes the west's hypocrisy.

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki blasted deteriorated conditions of human rights in the western countries, saying that Tehran has already compiled and sent a report to the United Nations on the different cases of the violation of human rights in the West.
Mottaki made the remarks in a meeting with Sweden's incoming ambassador to Tehran Magnus Wernstedt here on Wednesday, a statement released by the Foreign Ministry's Information and Press Bureau said.
He noted a resolution presented to the third committee of the Untied Nations General Assembly on human rights conditions in Iran, and said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran believes that such resolutions are based on political approaches and run counter to the realities of the culture and traditional values dominating Eastern societies."
"The Islamic Republic of Iran has serious objections to the violation of human rights in the West," Mottaki said, reminding that Tehran has already filed a report with the UN about cases of human rights violations in the West.
Further in the meeting, the Iranian top diplomat viewed the two countries' relations and cooperation as good, and voiced Tehran's preparedness to promote political and trade cooperation with Stockholm.
"We welcome serious and real talks with Sweden as the two countries can have good discussions about issues of mutual interest," he said.
For his part, the Swedish envoy voiced pleasure in his mission in Iran, and said that his country attaches much significance to cooperation and trade ties with the Islamic Republic.
Elsewhere, Magnus Wernstedt stressed the importance of dialogue between Islam and the West, and hoped that the two countries' relations would further develop.
