US, israel hold annual pow-wow over Iran

Guess where?

Israel and the United States have launched their annual strategic dialogue, designed to focus on the Iranian threat.

Officials said Israeli and U.S. teams began their strategic dialogue in Tel Aviv on Sunday.

In the heart of US central command and control and away from prying eyes.

They said the dialogue focused on Iran's nuclear program, but also included such issues as counter insurgency and arms exports control.

"The United States and Israeli sides will discuss efforts made to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear capabilities," an official said.

Israeli Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz, a former chief of staff and defense minister, headed the Israeli delegation, comprised of senior members of the military and intelligence community. Undersecretary of State Nicholas Burns headed the U.S. delegation, which included Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England.

Good to know that zionist interests were well-represented at the meeting, but who represented American interests?

In other news . . .

The United States has let its Gulf Arab allies know that an attack on Iran could take place in 2007.

Diplomatic sources said U.S. Central Command and the U.S. intelligence community have conducted discussions with Gulf Cooperation Council states. "There has not been a U.S. commitment, but the discussions have been interpreted as an expression of intent," a source said.

So far, the U.S. Navy has sent two strike carrier groups to the Gulf. The source said the naval build-up would be completed by February as additional PAC-3 systems arrive in GCC states.

And when, pray tell, was "US Central Command" (based in Tel Aviv), planning to "express their intentions" to the tax-paying slaves back in US proper (North America)???

they want to attack anyway.

I read on a Russian site (in English) that Saddam had offered to go into exile a few days before America attacked.
Before he had destroyed some of his few good missiles, just because he was told that they were against some agreement. They shot a few kilometers to far. He could have stood on his head or crawled on his knees, Iraq would have been attacked.

So will it be the same game with Iran?

But, I still can't understand how they expect this to play out without throwing the whole world into a tailspin.

Maybe chaos is the recipe they have in mind.
