The police do not need to arrest themselves. A Taser is supposed to be used as the (normally) non-lethal alternative to a gun!

Any kind of violence against an arrested person is either punishment or torture and is no business of the police: Punishment is meted out by the courts and torture is illegal. The police has no business inflicting injuries on arrested persons. It is as simple as that!

If no legal action is taken against the police after this event I am afraid that the US population has given up and has accepted Fascist tyranny. If you do not care about your own democratic rights you cannot expect sympathy from the rest of the world when you end up in the FEMA concentration camps!

I just assumed the TASER was still in his belt when he discharged it, which was what made it funny to me, but it does make more sense that he was fucking around with it at the time, in which case you make an excellent point. It looks to me like he zapped himself while trying to re-holster it, probably after visiting a whole lot of pain and torture on his victim. Arsehole.
