Just when you thought Wal-Mart could not sink any lower, it does, with the neat package of a personalized debit card that Wal-Mart charge $8.94 to start and charge 75 cent per balance inquiry. (See numbered item 10 for the list of fees)
As a former 8-month graveyard shift employee of Wal-Mart in the year 2000 and repentant ex-customer, I refuse to patronize Wal-Mart except when entering to walk around to witness the grotesque glory of the average poor American shoppers seeking deep discounts and using the restroom as the silent sociopolitical statement. It may be presumptuous of me to state that the frequent shoppers are more than likely politically apathetic and/or stupid as sheeple being guided by the corporate media to pick and choose the preferred candidates, almost always Republican. In my wild estimate, Christofascist fanatic & intellectually vapid Mike Huckabee will emerge as the winner of the Wal-Mart presidential election, which reflect the general idiocy of the Joes & Janes that worship Wal-Mart as the cultural icon of predatory corporation.
Wal-Mart is a reprehensibly evil corporation that continue to taint America's image by reinforcing the stereotypical preconception that America stand for ignorance, exploitation and unadulterated greed.
American corporate culture actively promote the above as the tenets of the American Way, and the body politic of Washington compliment this by kowtowing to the demands of the lobbying corporate and Israel Zionist agents instead of serving the constituency on the matters that should have seen priority but end up on the backburner.
American capitalist system is wonderful, but the excesses of Wal-Mart is one of many conglomerates that fuel the desire for sensible laws to bust the monstrously avaricious monopolies like Theodore Roosevelt did during his presidency.

Suppose one defends Wal-Mart by saying the essence of “free enterprise” is to make maximum profits and minum cost. Hence it is okay for Wal-Mart okay to use Chinese slave labor. Suppose one defends all of Wal-Mart’s in-store business practices.
How does one defend this…
Most business must pay property taxes, but Wal Mart rarely (if ever) pays property taxes at any of its locations. Indeed, cities often donate tax dollars to build stores for Wal-Mart.
Wal Mart bribes politicians to change zooning ordinances, so stores can be installed.
Wal Mart gets stores built even in areas where most people polled do not want a Wal-Mart.The more concrete we lay, the more we get in a motorized box to drive to a big box to buy things in boxes to take home to our boxes. Mall means sprawl. Shop Sprawl-Mart.
Every time a customer buys something at Wal-Mart, he or she moves a step closer to beig personally wiped out, and having to work at Wal-Mar for minimum wage. Yet they continue to shop while Rome burns.
Also, 30-to-50 percent of the Wal Mart employees are illegal aliens where I live. Wal Mart prefers to hire them instead of citizens.
The trend of mega-mergers and huge chains is wiping out small business everywhere, and with it the distinctiveness of local cultures. This is happening across the planet. Who benefits? Not the small business, not the small town, not the individual - only a few guys high up in the food chain.
Wal Mart is bigger than most nations, but is accountable to no one. If one town refuses to accept a GodzillaMart, the next town over will take it, pulling trade and tax dollars out of local coffers. The town has no choice - the terms are dictated by the retail giant from afar.
Is this Middle American family values? No more mom and pop stores here. The nation is being covered by a Wal-Mart carpet. Welcome, Weed-Mart.
Money spent in each store does not stay in the town. It goes to Wal-Mart’s central account. Hence Wal-Mart uses local workers and consumers as a colony, extracting their wealth and exporting to the mother country.
Wal Mart has accelerated the flight of manufacturing out of the USA. Wal Mart (and Jews) also dictate American tastes. They are the biggest music retailer in the country - in many places, the only music retailer.
No other store or business has so many web sites devoted to hating Wal-Mart, such as Wal Mart Watch, Wal Mart blows, I Hate Wal Mart, and so on.
Notice the McWelfare rest-aah-raunts always there too, where you may consume hydrogenated, sugared, salted and bleached GMO cardboard. Still thinking? Howabout some more unchelated mercury, cadmium and lead? feel better? now go brush your brain.

Beware of this scam...Tell your Friends!
The way the scam works is, a man slips into the women's restroom and sneaks into a stall. He waits until there is only one woman in the restroom in a neighboring stall. The criminal then stands on the toilet and points a hand gun into the next stall, demanding the woman's valuables. After getting her cash and jewelry, he demands that she removes all of her clothing and kick them out of the stall.
The thief tosses the clothing into a shopping bag, hangs an Out of Order sign on the restroom door, and slips back into the mall. The out of order sign ensures no one will soon come to the woman's rescue. It usually takes an hour or two for the woman to work up the nerve to leave the restroom in the nude, giving the criminal ample time to make his get away. The
woman is left naked and humiliated in a mall full of strangers.
The best defense, says police, is to never go into a shopping mall restroom alone, as only women who are by themselves are targeted.

This is unlikely to happen in walmart as the thief would not get much for the same level of risk.
The Wal-Mart location where I used to work at became a Superstore. There's a long-standing McDonald's restaurant about a hundred feet in the distance. A few years later, McDonald's expanded INTO Wal-Mart Supercenter. So now there's TWO McDonald's restaurants within the half mile radius.
I don't go to McDonald's to consume food regularly. I hate their disgusting greasy food, even dollar menu. I make an exception to purchasing Deluxe Breakfast, minus sausage, when I feel hungry in the mornings. My visit is rare, one to two times a year.
Sometimes I feel bad for the workers at McDonald's who have to work on slave wage, but what other fast food restaurant don't? It's called McJob for an excellent reason. This is capitalism and we gotta work to live - skilled, apprentice, intern, student or none.

There is no way that any woman would ever get robbed in a Wal Mart crapper because there are way too many hidden cameras in there taking videos for sale in their internet porn business.
And SIX CENTS an hour is indeed what many Chinese workers, stitching together Levi jeans for Wally World, make.
They work upwards of 20 hours day with NO breaks.
They have to live and eat on the factory grounds and that cost is taken out of their paychecks.
People who shop at Wally World are slitting their own throats, as the retailer is the USA's largest and as such, its low rate of pay to workers is held up across the land as a model to follow when others, not working for WM try and negotiate a living wage.
That allows the owners of WM, like one Alice Walton, to have money on hand to spend 45 MILLION dollars on ONE painting.
