The NSA, with it's transnational banking, business, military arms, pedophile and slave trade, and drug cartels, are running America's dog and pony show in Washinton and the DoD. The same is repeated in several other nations. Before the NSA was formalized, these same groups of people used to work through American intelligence networks as well as other nation's intelligence networks. These are united at a certain point, with all interests of all groups working through the Bank of International Settlements (bis.or) which organizes almost all nations' national reserve banks. This is the top of the pyramid, surrounded by rings of other parts of the system. In terms of power, imagine a funnel form with concentric circles. The center is the greatest in power and has the fewest people (power is identified by the level each group sits).

1. The top of transnational banking is the most powerful force on earth and the least understood. The players are a consortium of bankers distributed throughout the globe that determine who lives and dies in THEIR world's "sand box". Essentially, this is the head of the serpent. These people are rulers by way of economic subversion and blackmail and are in control of the lower parts of the ring. They act as monarchs of absolute power and answer to no one.

2. The interlocking intelligence networks (NSA, ISI, MI-6, Mossad, KGB..) serve as the generals of the system. These people keep all groups below them in line for the head of the serpent are do their work by way of deception. Using assassination, state sponsored or hired terrorism, running covert death squads from anywhere by any group of mercenaries, they play on the fears of the people and the groups that don't perform as directed (tightly by direct order or loosely by following guidelines). The terrorist groups they run are numerous and vary widely in specialty. Terrorist groups can be religious (all groups), nationalist, ideologue, ethnic... The "corporate" media conglomerates, perception management, human programming and brain washing, the media, K-12 and college education, official propaganda, et. al. are here as well. These people act as heads of state and hold leadership positions within interlocking intelligence agencies that operate as one unit around the globe. They order "how things get done", the architects of deceit.

3. The military and it's industrialists are the generals. This is a group of military leaders of their respective "defense" departments and regularly rotate through the military's industrial supply chain. When economic subversion and covert operations fail, the military coalitions will join as one unit for the purpose of varying degrees of punishment as directed by the groups above. This group will make sure that there will never be peace. All options are available and heavy use of the world's brain trust work in this area. All variations on the "creation" of death and destruction from all avenues are pursued. The world's National Laboratories, Higher Education, Organizations thought to be for peaceful purposes (Centers for Disease Control, Red Cross/Crescent and "Human Rights" organizations), big Pharma, Medical, ... are used. These people act as engineers testing their projects without any moral principle. Battle hardened is a euphemism that is appropriate. All forms of humanity has been lost at this level (empathy, mercy, sympathy, remorse...). These people act as military strategists and tacticians.

4. The transnational corporations creating the industrial infrastructure. This is where the corporate non-consumer groups are. This group supports the other tiers by providing the infrastructure and the money earned derived from growth, manufactured by innovation or through destruction. Transnational giants of conglomerates and specialists that work on keeping the structure strong and growing are here. The machine tool groups, building giants, big oil, ship building, railroads, infrastructure production (airports, streets, buildings, energy generation and distribution, materials suppliers...), agra-business, ports, large scale distribution (railroad engines and cars, industrial trucking and trailers, part of the automobile industry, shipping... The super wealthy self absorbed people of vulture capitalism are in this position. Companies and government entities such as Mazak, GE, Siemens, Philips (non consumer), Exon-Mobil, Bechtel, Haliburton, Union Pacific (history of railroads go hand in hand with banks and financiers due to railroad laws, but the people involved are significant), Boeing, Intel, Nokia (broadband infrastructure), satellite telecom consortiums which are connected through the global information grid, arpnet, national damns, water ways and pipes... are part of this group. While some of the people in these industries are in groups above, most are in it for the love of money, the elimination of boundaries and laws keeping them from greater profitability. They work the political puppets for special legislation to their advantage and to the disadvantage of new competition and small business.

5. The transnational corporations for consumer goods and services. Watch the BBC 4 part video series "Century of Self". These people are the creators of consumption capitalism and drive people to be nothing but happiness machines. Branding, sales and marketing, and selling of products and services that are not necessary for survival is the specialty of this area. Consumer products of all forms are pushed in front of people to create a want of goods and services that are usually not needed but made to make us think we do. They work as a consumer debt group which turn the majority of people into perpetual debtors. Companies at this level profit well but there is an appearance of competition. Companies that supply the commercials to purchase items such as entertainment equipment, carbonated flavored sugar water, and other items that create sense of need that are worthless or a nag factor exist here.

6. The facade of representative government of any form. These people pass legislation and make laws that they are told to make and also some to keep people pacified. In most western "democratic" countries, there are multiple parties each run by a leadership committee. Communist and Socialist are similar. People that run for public office that don't fit the definitions of "leadership" by the upper tiers do not get funding, TV time, ad space. A popular person with the interests of the people that pass through the lack of money, TV time and ad space end up getting character assassinated or are put on the fringe as a lunatic.

Each level above has it's specialists. It is as a college campus with all specialties. Genetics, astrophysics, earth sciences, accounting, marketing, economics, teaching, administration, humanities, fine arts, information technology, decision sciences... To each level goes the people to support it from the top down by degree of need to function. The working group of the top levels are the merger of socialism and capitalism, a totalitarian global socialist-fascist union. Their cycle of life is inspired by control (power, wealth, greed, self...)

Who is being controlled?

The population that is the foundation of humanity which is the floor for the pyramid. This group that does not include the above. Those that work for what is thought to be for a greater good are now being segregated from one another by the despots from the groups above, regardless of political views, religious faith (including atheism), or ethnic origin. The common thread of universe, knowledge, wisdom, peace, enlightenment exist here. This group consists of farmers, teachers, ranchers, small business... In earlier times, before the industrial age and oil, these were the people that worked together for the survival of the community and worked for the greater good. Functional knowledge is passed between generations as well as new knowledge. Free enterprise exists here as well and exists in all forms of governing methods. Barter is free enterprise that doesn't need private ownership and is the oldest form of free enterprise but free enterprise is alive and well here in forms where fair trade is most important, not control and the use of mergers and consolidation to establish control. Legislation is not a rigid set of rules but alive and up to interpretation by elders, judges, wise men, chiefs... Legislation is not punitive using force for forces sake but to enhance peace using corrections and NOT as the euphemism as it is by controlling groups. Most important is that people see each other face to face and understand that we are all of the same group but allow ourselves opinions and respect the opinions of others. This should sound a lot like what the original concepts of what the American Constitution and Bill of Rights, a living document of a framework which was designed for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It would not have existed if it wasn't for people Thomas Paine, Patrick Henry and George Mason. There are other similar documents and oral concepts throughout the world.

The towns and villages in America are not that different from the towns and villages in South America, Africa, Europe or Asia. The systematic demise of these places such as these, which form the heart of their lands, is the demise of a civilized society. Technology advances while civilization retreats. The levels of controllers use the pushing of death, publishing propaganda, running the drug trade, advertising false hopes and cheap thrills, run the slave and sex trade, and several other forms to ever increase their control, while making legislation to make the people they prey on feel greater isolation.

Read Henry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson as to how this can be changed. Civil disobedience and peace is the enemy of controlling groups. The FBI was created to control or jail anti-war protesters. The intelligence apparatus and current militaries were conceived for control by subversion, covert action and war. Usury has been stated by many past Presidents, Ministers, and heads of state as well as and several earlier rulers, philosophers as the most sinister and even demonic creation on earth and the bankers that used fractional reserve usury as the most evil people on earth. The rotten core needs to be changed, checques and balances need to be restored, and there need to be as many power centers as possible to prevent the concentration of power into too few hands.

There also need to be once again several economic and political systems to compete with each other, so they would have to accomodate the needs of the people they are supposed to serve, if they want their system not to be overthrown.

And I agree with qrswave, who has stated in many earlier writings, that one of the reforms must be a money reform, where interest free money is created by elected government institutions and not by private bankers.

The belief, that one powerful group controls just about everything in the world, is counterproductive, because it implies invincibility.

There is quite a bit of evicence around, that there is indeed a power struggle going on, on many levels, and that there are different opinions on many issues.

I agree with you, that there are powerful financial elites with very much influence on global economy and the matter of war and peace in the world.
But I do not believe, that they have everybody else dangling in some web of complicity.

Humanity is not a theater of puppets.
If those elitists have everybody dangling, there is no way they can be reached or stopped.

Most human beings are decent and therefore there is a chance to stop those who are not, with the laws human societies have developed over the centuries.
