The cold war is history, and Americans have no clue about history. The cold war probably took place when Germany tried to invade Siberia to steal its nookular weapons of mass destruction!
The US is the world's only super power. It sets the agenda for what is going to happen and it will tell you exactly what to think happened in the past. The US does not have enemies apart from those of its own (and not least Israel's) making.
Any country which rises in aspiration to rival the US in any shape or form is a threat, and will be considered an enemy! (we had an interesting article about this on this blog a while ago)
Therefore, only time will tell which of the two countries will be the first to be attacked by the full power of the US military, Germany or Russia! They should both tremble for the almighty US!
