My favorite volume years ago was a little vellum-covered copy of Casaubon's translation of M. Aurelius' Meditations. After I finish the perusal of this maybe I'll be better able to delineate and tag it-- or at least (by the grace of Good) I'll be a little wiser for it. And so, for now, farewell.

I'm 100% certain that it was the part played by evil, deranged clowns like Dee which directed the murderous, hateful, talmudic-like policy of Britain towards Ireland, &c. Unspeakable wickedness, just like we see today from the US and the other usual suspects..
John Dee was apparently Deputy of Ireland, and his influence on Elizabeth and the shaping of the British EMPIRE was substantial.. the only magic involved lies in the credulity of man..

They are predators and parasites who always play against our innocence and credulity..
The truth is that, for all his learning, Casaubon was more than a little duped and cozened himself; and, though he does indeed expose Dee and others (such as Agrippa, &c.) for what they were (i.e., foul, distempered, stupid, chaos-engendering, sathan/mammon-worshiping frauds or 'magicians', he does so half-unwittingly, being subject to certain heeb-trewistic mythologies and superstitions himself, &c. &c., &c., &c., &c.
