Here is a short overview of tsvi's (there are about 30 ways to spell it) toxic philosophy.

"Professor Gershom Scholem, an authority on Jewish mysticism, in his book "The Messianic Idea in Judaism" writes at length about the False Messiah Sabbatai Tsvi.74 The name Sabbatai in Hebrew means 'the star Saturnus' -- small wonder that he became a false Messiah, just like Bar Kokhba, the 'son of a star', before him. Hi guys, I read the site and browse the comments, and enjoy the very informed discussions. I've not been contributing much due to responsibilities taking my time, but on the issue of Sabbatianism, I think I can add a little, here's it brief and simple:

I believe that what Sabbatai Zevi started is critical in understanding Zionism. He was the main catalyst to switch 'Jews' from dreaming about the 'return' to Palestine/etc into DOING something about it.

The Jewish scholar Claymore quotes talks about how Zevi's (and Frank's) more important legacy was the new way of interpreting 'Torah' (Talmud, etc).

Jewish tradition has it that all the extra laws Jews have to abide by (which the Rabbis have historically enforced using their Talmud) is because they are special and have to act special (as opposed to the goyim who don't need to be purified (ie circumsized) and follow moral laws, because they are goyim). Also, Jews are in exile because of their sins, so have a greater responsibility to abide by the laws so God will finally allow them back into Palestine and out of the Shoah (or out of persecution; they were waiting for the messiah when Jesus came). This will happen when God sends them the Messiah, who will use his God-given power to overthrow the gentiles, and establish the Jews in their rightful place as God's people in Holy Palestine, with their temple, where they will rule over the goyim of the world because only they have the special realtionship with God that gives them the sole responsibility of running the world according to God's will.

So how did Zevi change all this? First, he claimed he was the messiah, and if it were true, that means Jews don't need to follow their extra rigid laws that protects them from 'heathen' influence of the goyim, because they're about to be the ones ruling over and influencing the goyim, according to God's will.

To solidify his image as the messiah, Zevi's followers started to abandon the 'Law'. Also, Zevi taught that actions carried out by the Jewish nation are divine in origin, since the Jews are representative of God's divinity on Earth. He based this reasoning on Luriah's Kabbalistic mysticism which allowed Jews to do both good and evil to achieve their goals, since both were only perceptions, and God does both (according to them). So Jews leaving their moral laws was seen as a catalyst for the end times, initiating the return to Palestine, done by God via his divine spark on Earth (the Jews), lead by His Messiah Zevi.

Am I making any sense? I'm kinda just explaining as it comes to mind.

Anyways. Zevi was acting like the Messiah, and reinterpreted Jewish mythology into one of Jews carrying out God's plan instead of them waiting for it to magically happen. After being kicked out of Jerusalem by the local Rabbis, and after being forced to convert to Islam by the Ottoman Sultan (who saw that Zevi was beginning to move many Jews into active Zionism and not just hopeful dreamy Zionism), Zevi taught that part of working to bring about God's plan was to disguise your Judaism, to go crypto, and that was easy for his followers because they already abandoned following the law. They were safe in their Jewishness and divine goals, even though they weren't practicing Halackah, and they taught their children their Jewishness and goals in secret. The Donmeh emerged from Sabbatai's followers and were the main secularizing force in Turkey.

A crisis happened when Zevi died, many of his followers left him when he 'converted to Islam' (they were expecting miracles from the Messiah), and some from his hardcore supporters lost hope when he died. But Zevi's successor, Baruchiah Russo, continued the mission to bring reestablish the nation of Israel. Russo's disciple and successor was Yankiev (Jacob) Frank, and he was the main guy to translate Zevi's ideas and seeds into a global Zionist movement.

Frank taught that once the messiah came, he dies not, but moves on to other bodies as the old mortal one dies. He taught that the Messiah incarnated in Russo when Zevi died, and that now he (Frank) was the messiah. And other than just telling his followers to move to Palestine, he started telling them to establish themselves in fields of influence so they can practically bring about their state of Israel. Frank's Sabbateanism grows especially popular in Poland among the Khazar/Turkic 'Jews', because they've been pining for a homeland and suffering oppression for centuries, and prefered to do something about it than stick to waiting and hoping which is what the more orthodox rabbis at the time were saying.

Some among the Frankists of eastern Europe did become very successful, such as the Bondis and Hoenigs, but most significantly the man who would change his name to Rothschild. It just happens that Rothschild was able to hit it big in banking, and become so powerful that he (I suspect) appointed himself the post-Frank Messiah. There have been claims in the 1800s that the Rothschilds started to pass on the title of Messiah within the family, along with the wealth they were accruing, hoping that one of their own will be crowned king of Jerusalem when the time is right.

The first Rothschild recruited Weishaupt to start the Illuminati, this went underground soon after when uncovered in Germany (its role in France's secular revolution exposed). Since then, the Sabbatean/Frankist/Rothschild bankers have been starting wars, trying to solidify their power over nations, pushing secularism (to remove religious resistance to Jewish influence), pushing Zionism to the mainstream Jews (most of whom remained orthodox until they were convinced of Zionism's virtue by the 'holocaust'), pushing Communism as a prototype of confiscating God/wealth/rights of the gentiles in preparation for Jewish God-sanctioned leadership over the goys, etc. The Rothschild's and other Zionists started buying Palestinian lands in the 1800s, when they couldn't get the Ottomans to give them all of it, they helped the crypto-Jewish Donmeh 'Young Turks' to take Turkey, and used WW1 to weaken the world in preparation for a NWO, and open the way for the settlement of Palestine by the world's Jews. A Rothschild got his Balfour promise then.
