What do you make out of this?

Why is Christopher Bollyn linking to his own audio files residing on http://erichufschmid.net/mp3/ ???

Check it out at http://www.bollyn.com/index/ halfway down the page.

Eric claims that Chris is in prison (or worse), and his kids are being used as you-know-what-kind-of-slaves and so on.

Eric also claims that other people are missing, but I have spoken to one of them and he is all fine and dandy. So I suggested Eric should look up his phone number and give him a call, but he doesn't want to. All he wants is to keep spreading false rumours.

What's up with this?

I don't see anything particularly weird about Bollyn linking to his own files on Hufschmid's site. It saves him from having to host them himself.

Eric claims that Chris is in prison (or worse), and his kids are being used as you-know-what-kind-of-slaves and so on.

Eric '99% of the truth movement are Zionist agents' Hufschmid is either a pathological liar, a disinformation agent or a man who lives a colorful world of fanciful, paranoid delusions. I don't mean to be inflammatory, but it seems pretty obvious to me, and I think it's a fair statement.

Smith was telling his listeners the same thing (about Bollyn being 'kidnapped' or 'dead') for weeks on end before he parted ways with Hufschmid, but later claimed that it was all Hufschmid's idea and that he never really believed it. Language warning:

DBS: I'm getting fucking hammered here, by everybody and their brother for saying that Bollyn is, is missing. That was your fucking thing. I never thought it. It was you.

EH: But you could, we can say that, then.

DBS: I, bullshit.

EH: I thought he was, and what d'you mean, he was murdered?

DBS: I didn't think so, and I told you so.

EH: Well I thought he was missing.

DBS: I didn't think so, goddammit, and I'm catching all the fucking heat here.

Source.

If he didn't believe it, why did he pretend he did? He told thousands of people something that he didn't believe was true, and some people actually believed it. He's supposed to be a purveyor of truth, not bullshit.

Anyway, qrswave is wise to stay focused on the information and ignore cheap, tabloidesque personal dramas between individuals. You'll always be able to tell who is legit and who isn't by looking at the information they put out. In this case (Smith, Bollyn and Hufschmid), it's Hufschmid that comes out looking the worst, with Smith not far behind for being silly and impressionable enough to peddle information that he knew to be false. Still, Smith seems to mean well, and continues to put out decent information. It's Hufschmid I don't take seriously anymore.

Bottom line: it's the information that matters.
