Russian Federation is right to express concern about the purpose of the United States' decision to destroy the spy satellite, which USA claim is broken and contain toxic materials.
China shot down its own satellite with the long-range missile over U.S.'s objection in early 2007. USA responds with its plan to shoot down its own "obsolete/broken" satellite to demonstrate whether its system of missile capacity is feasible to provide the 'defense shield' in the future war.
The mainstream media regurgitate the deception promoted by U.S. government and the Pentagon with the false claim of the "toxic satellite" as a cover story that conceal the true design to test the long-range missiles to calibrate and prepare the sophisticated system for the upcoming war when the tension over Kosovo's declared independence and physical interference with Syria and/or Iran's sovereign affairs catapult to a flare leading to World War III.

They could hardly complain, could they? It is a matter of protecting human beings from the toxic materials found in US satellites, just like in Chinese toys! Testing weapons in outer space is actually illegal if they know what that means.
If the toxicity was the problem they made a blunder designing the satellite, because no satellite stays in orbit forever.
