Saudi Arabia has reportedly sent an arms shipment to Lebanon amid an ongoing political crisis and a looming civil conflict in the country.
The Syrian daily al-Watan reported that a Saudi Royal Guard plane carrying arms, ammunition and explosives had landed in Beirut few days ago.
The report claimed that Riyadh had also deployed 600 security forces to Lebanon who stayed permanently there for 'special operations'.
According to the report, the arms shipment included a large amount of tear and nerve gas which is used to disperse demonstrators in case of widespread protests.
Saudi airplanes arrived to Beirut loaded with weapons and ammunition, about 120 mortars and machine guns M16, B7 and approximately 1 ton of C4, 25 ton teargas, sticks and small pistols to combat demonstrations.

...Also Security was boosted on Thursday around the Kuwaiti Embassy in Beirut after an anonymous caller made a bomb threat, a security official said.
"Someone called a foreign press agency at about 9:55 a.m. and said that at 10 a.m., the embassy would be bombed," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
"We immediately boosted security around the embassy and advised the staff working on the upper floors to move down to the lower floors."
A man who answered the telephone at the embassy said there was no one in the building.
The incident comes amid high tension in Lebanon, which is mired in its worst political crisis since the end of the 1975-1990 civil war.
It also comes amid threats of attacks against Israel by Hezbollah after the killing in Damascus of one of its top officials, Imad Mugniyah.
The tense situation prompted Saudi Arabia earlier this week to advise its citizens against travelling to Lebanon. The French Embassy this month also shut two of its cultural centers in the country because of security concerns.
Those assholes they want to create chaos in Lebanon to defend their existence and Israel existence!

Saudis are playing a really dirty role in Lebanon... and all this because of a speech of Bashar el Asaad's a few years ago when he accused the Arabs of being "half-men" for allowing the rape of Iraq. Frankly, the man is right. As stupid as this may sound, the Saudis have never been able to swallow this insult even though Bashar apologized for it. The Saudis are arming the "mustaqbal" militia which belongs to Saad el Hariri (a Saudi national who's father Rafiq Hariri was 'made in Saudi Arabia' and also given a Saudi passport). Remember a few weeks ago when Saudi Arabia sent a delegation to Pakistan to talk sense to Musharaf..., who was heading that delegation? Saad el Hariri. So anyway, the Saudis are challenging the Lebanese opposition (backed by Syria and Iran) via the Hariri militia on Lebanese land. With them are the Lebanese Forces militia which is headed by Samir Geagea and that was banned after the Lebanese civil war... but reinstated when the US got Gaegae released from 5 life sentences in jail for political assassination. Again the US and Saudi Arabia, the most unlikely of partners bond together. It is also a good opportunity for the Sunni House of Saud to challenge the mostly Shiite Resistance and Iran. The House of Saud know that they are threatened in Saudi Arabia itself by Saudi Shiites. The House of Saud also knows that the US initially intended to erase them before it turned to Iran (Taking Saudi out of Arabia by RAND Co. Laurent Murawiec). When I first heard about the Saudis warning their citizens not to travel to Lebanon, I thought how incredible that after the Imad Mughneya assassination, Saudi Arabia and Israel seemed to stand on the same scared side..
