Carlos Latuff's statement:

I'd like to beg all viewers to spread this image anywhere, as a way to expose Israeli war crimes against Palestinians. Use it on t-shirts, posters, banners. Reproduce it in zines, papers, magazines, and make it visible everywhere. Here is the high-resolution version for printing purposes: [link]

Thank you in the name of every suffering Palestinian.

Israelies don't need to be as agressive as before.

What's your point, Yafus? There are many ways for Gazans to die. It's an open air prison.

But you're not trying to start a discussion with that cut-and-paste job. Since it's clear that you're simply trying to undercut the condemnation of Israel for what's happening in Gaza, indulge me and let me let me explain how that report you presented fails at that.

Sowing discontent and internal fighting is one of the most reliable strategies for an occupying force. It literally dates back millenia. Being a country of great internal conflict itself, Israel is particularly adept at it. Does this abdicate responsibility for the Palestinians? No, but endemic violence has root causes--often planted deliberately--and doesn't spring up overnight. And, as in the entire world, in violent conflict the actual participants are usually no more than pawns.

Israelis have found creative and deceptive ways to avoid the factual distinction of committing genocide, and pitting Palestinians against each other is the most effective. Why? The papers say "Palestinian kills a Palestianian," and the simpletons who read this cannot fathom how Israel is ultimately responsible. In the process, this simpleton loses the capacity to sympathize.

This strategy, constantly at work, led to the creation and rise of Hamas (with Israeli funding, intelligence, and tacit support) when it was feared that the Palestinians, and much of the Arab world, were united--under a socialist banner, no less. Now Hamas runs Gaza. Now, Israel has a pretext to attack a democratically-elected government. What more could they want? Hamas in power and a Palestinian civil war is precisely what Israel's hawks have been dreaming of.

Getting back to the point, Gaza is but an open air prison and, sometimes, the prisoners and the power structure that develops in its unliveable circumstances come to blows.

Next time, Yafus, analyze the facts instead of trying to use them for character assassination. This is a disgustingly common habit for this subject, from both sides.

Who wants to wager with me that you will NEVER see these on the front pages of Zionist-owned-controlled newspapers?!!!

Any takers?
