US Marines kill puppies by twisting their necks to prove cold-blood machoism prior to boot camp graduation

Full Metal Jacket

In light of the recent puppy-tossing video, here is a screenshot of an 'elusive' Facebook member group reserved for those who prove their "manliness" in rearing newborn puppies only to kill the young animals some time later the night before graduation from boot camp.

This is the example of producing "killing machines" incapable of empathy similar to the worst roster of serial killers and rapists. Apparently animal cruelty law do not apply to the Marines who commit the deed as the path of initiation. Dishonorable, indeed.

And what would USMC administration do? They overlook it, impliedly encouraging the practice unless there is the exposure which generate negative publicity, then they will claim to be indignant and promise investigation for charge of court martial and discipline.

Which they did in response to the negative reaction to puppy-tossing video scandal.

Dogs Die to Teach Peru’s Soldiers How to Kill

by David Harrison, Environment Correspondent

Barechested commandos brandishing knives take turns to charge towards a live dog, tied and spreadeagled between vertical poles. They slash and stab the helpless, yelping animal until it dies. Then, in a grotesque act of military machismo, the soldiers eat the dog’s heart and drink its blood.

The troops belong to the Peruvian army and the slaughter of the dog is the climax of a series of ‘bravery tests’ to train them to be ruthless killers.
