Embassy issues warning to Americans in Lebanon
Who knows, maybe there's a false flag on the way that will give Israel the excuse to resume full-scale hostilities against Lebanon while providing the U.S. with the excuse it needs to launch an attack on Iran?

The American embassy in Beirut on Thursday called on its nationals in Lebanon to exercise caution and maintain a low profile because of concern of attacks against Americans. "There is general concern that extremist groups may be planning to attack US citizens and interests in Lebanon," the embassy said in a statement directed at US nationals in Lebanon and posted on its website.
"The US embassy urges US citizens who live, work, or are traveling in Lebanon to exercise responsible security practices," the statement read. "US citizens should also take care that they maintain a low profile in public and avoid predictable and habitual behavior."
Washington has recently issued similar warnings to its citizens in Lebanon in light of the ongoing political crisis that has left the country without a president since November. The United States has also deployed two warships off the country's coast.
Generally all Americans in the Middle East are on low profile since the Iraq war started. I live in an area where many Americans live, so I can see exactly the stages through which Americans are going in the Middle East. The good old times of pre-Iraq war or maybe even pre-9/11 are gone.. You know, when an American official comes to live near you, it has become a misfortune or a calamity.. because your house becomes all of a sudden a fortress and not a home. You drive home through a police outpost. You park your car near police and various security forces. When those Americans have a party, that is even more of a calamity because you can be stopped from going to your house on account of their security. When you order delivery from fast foods, the delivery may never reach you because your zone has been labeled a "high security" zone because of the existence of an American official in it. The American high school here has stopped using its usual beautiful typical American school buses a few years ago out of fear that they be targeted. It now uses buses that can blend in with 'normal' cars. Shops which Americans like to visit often have curiously all forbidden parking around them and have police, security and intel agents all over. The American embassy is not an embassy any longer.. It's a fortress or a small military base. The people who live in the same district as the embassy are all suffering tremendously. Suffice to tell you that all their streets have been closed.
I think that Americans in general have been warned by their embassies since the Iraq war.. because this is when the real turning point was felt. Another turning point was with the Lebanon war of 2006 when it was obvious that the US was in full support of Israel and later one found out that it was the US that actually commissioned the war.
Americans are gradually being treated like Israelis here (Egypt). Israelis are only allowed to enter Egypt and Jordan in the Arab world. They are not allowed by law to enter the rest of the Arab world. During the past few years, Israelis have completely disappeared from the scene in Egypt because of the worsening situation of the Palestinians. Now they don't dare appear on an Egyptian street... except camouflaged behing a US passport. Slowly slowly Americans are disappearing now. The people simply don't want to tolerate American blind, evil and unjust support of Israel any longer. Governments are tolerating it, but people arent't.
